Im 20, first car was a fiat uno SX which was my mams then she got a micra the old nasty shape which i also drove then she got a mk3 polo coupe which was wicked then i bought my own car, a 1971 vw beetle was my pride and joy until the day i realised i could afford to buy a corrado after 13 years of waiting, and now i have a corrado 1.8 16v, if all goes to plan ill have a corrado 20vt at 21 yr old  -
yeah thought it was pricy for a manifold 2 just thought id check still want one though, i think i might goto exhausts uk and get them to build me a custom one, i quite fancy making it sound throaty like a subaru impreza, a deep gurgle :), dunno if its possible but it sure would be nice.
-
As far as i know the 1.8 16v never had a CAT, so where will the system start from then will it just mount on to the exsisting manifold or do i get a new manifold 2, if i dont get a manifold anyone know where i can get one from cos i want one as well?
-
Im a bit dumb so please forgive my question, how much of an exhaust am i getting for £265 i have a 1.8 16v without a CAT, do u get the full manifold with that as well or is it just the pipes coming from the manifold onwards to the rear?
-
Wow thats sweeeeet, just noticed though he aint got no covers or out over the back wheels, would be funny to watch him driving along gravel and getting stones flicked up onto the back of head hehehe

I think its probs a load of crap 2, think the law states that speed cameras must be visable and not hidden, so if they are using GPS by means of catching you and you dont see a camera then they are breaking the law, just what i heard dunno if anyone else heard of this, just remeber a case where a camera was hidden in bushs where u couldnt see it and it had to be moved.
-
i thought the speedo was only over reading when the diameter of the wheel and tire exceeded the standard wheels?, thing you'll have less trouble with tire rubbing with 205's, dont think itll make any difference to your driving unless you go for different profiles (the lower the profile the harsher the ride).

Anyone got any prices and recommendations for 20v turbo swap on a Corrado, summit i plan on doing next year instead of my original plan of selling my C to buy a VR.
-
Has the bolt holding it on not just come lose so its not gripping when the motors turning, used to do it on my old beetle.

I did this mod bout a month or so ago, heard the best way to do it is to just remove the snorkel and fit a cold air feed to the box from the front grill that way u dont get any turbulence inside the box, aparently just cutting holes in it will cause that and will not give u any gains just sound, ive drilled my airbox 2 because all i wanted was sound anyway, just some info incase u dont wanna cut your box to bits and still want the sound, fitting a cold air feed in my opinon is a must, it rams cold air stright into the air box.

Hiya i think it was a 16v im sure i seen the 16v badge, it was parked right at the top of the car park closest to the grandstand and it wasnt parked facing the drag strip like most cars where it was parked with its passenger side facing the back of the grandstand. any takers? was one sweet motor.
-
Very nice car looks sweet, did u know your badge on the front grill is a little 2 far 2 the left?
-
Dunno if it could be the cold start valve sticking, dunno where that is like but im sure other guys on the forum do.

Ive got a nice crook lock in my car never gets used it has one purpose and thats protection, its one of them ones that sits over the handbrake and gear knob, personally i think its usless cos all u need to do to get it off is unscrew the gear knob, but police aint gonna say out if they pull me.

Nice wheels look very cool, is it black chrome?

My cars a metalic grey and its always showing dirt, think all metalic paints show dirt more, my m8 has a light bluey green rover non metalic and it looked nice and clean and i asked him when he last cleaned it and he said not anytime recently, so guess its just metalic paints that show dirt better but come up with a better shine when cleaned, some pics of my car in the members gallery after it was first cleaned. Anyone know if i can shrink some pics of my car so i can put em near my name on the left, all the ones i took are 2 big in size.

Well i had an old beetle (1971) converted to run on unleaded and i put optimax in it once by accident and it went like sh*t off a stick, really made a difference, so i imagine any car running a higher octane than normal will get the same benifits, but in higher powered cars you may not see much of a difference as they are fast already, aparently if you use super unleaded of 98ron its the equivilant of going up 100cc in engine size, the 1.8 16v can only run on 98 ron as the engine can not adjust to 95 ron and causes pinking which in turn increases the chance of detonation, bit of advice ive found a lot of ppl didnt know.
