Apologies, I was getting you mixed up with Mr Beige
-
Yes, I thought that. And said it. Aloud. Never mind loving the 'rado, the girlfriend deserves her credit for stoically putting up with this and still sounding interested.[/quote:5dfc0] She also has one now though doesnt she??? ;)

How much did they set you back Scott?
-
Right then, meet at Scotts house it is

If you've got red-tinted indicators, put green bulbs in to make them flash green (seriously - Pug do it!) The wonders of subtractive colour mixing. Dont you mean Orange Dinks????
-
Cool, you can make me a set too

He's a cheeky tw*t for asking and just trying it on. i once had someone do an AA check on a 200sx of mine. The AA guy found it had been damaged in the past, by using a micrometer (it was the only way you could tell), needed new front discs shortly and the aircon needed a charge. The guy tried knocking me down a grand!! i told him where to stick it, and then he wanted half the money of the AA check for it!!! Cheeky CUnt!!! Thats why you do a check to satisfy yourself as the "buyer" that youre happy with the car!!!

I like the fact that mine is every bit as quick as those three "coupe's" on Top Gear last night, if thats what you can call them!!! and 13 years older

My Car's at the Stealers - Inspection Report

Not sure but I know the shop is really god and he sources his parts from genuine if poss. I was asking him how they were so cheap and he said that they have to try and match internet prices to keep customers returning, which is fair enough. Ive been to the same place loads of times, and some mates always use him too. This link may be of use too, its for a Mk IV but should give you some idea ;) http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/thread/780532.aspx -
My Car's at the Stealers - Inspection Report

Give this place a ring. I bought some front wishbones for the golf yesterday for £17.50 + VAT each, thats £15 cheaper than GSF!!!! If they work out a lot cheaper then I'll get them for you and post you them. Volks World 9, Blackpool Rd, Ribbleton, Preston, Lancashire PR2 6BS Tel: 01772 797919 Motor Factors -
You need the handles and the door mechanisms mate, the parts which latch on to the door pin when you close the door.
-
Not yet!! It had a nail in the tyre, which just got replaced. I need to change the front wishbone bushes, so Im gonna change the wishbones themselves as its easier, and its running rough due o the nob ed at the garage  As soon as its sorted then I'll let you know. Although, even with those bits needing doing it does feel good 8)

Ive still got my C though  Goldie 48 valves, 5.6 litres, 12 cylinders and over 400 horses

Some of you may know that we recently acquired a rather cheap 4motion ;) This satisfiesw my need for another toy, and something more modern, and it satisfies my girlfriends need to have a good decent car with enough room in the boot for our Boxer dog. 130k, Indigo Blue, 2000 W reg, full electrics including climate. Its running like a bag of nails at the moment since it was steam cleaned by the garage where we bougt it. Bought it on trade agreement though, so cant really go back to thinge about it. Just waiting for my Vag-Com lead to turn up now. Suspect its the lambda, maf or coils/leads though so nothing major. Need to lose the surf board holder from the dash too

Thats a great picture!!! You need you C on the road but in colour with the B&W background, that would be 8)
