  1. R32 | Aqua Blue Pearl | Huddersfield Price: £5000 Description: 1994/L reg. Mileage : 152k 5+ months tax, 5 months MOT This Corrado has been professionally resprayed in the original colour (Aqua Blue Pearl) to a very high standard. This complete body respray was completed less than 12 months ago. The car started life as a CORRADO VR6 which I purchased in April 2010. Upon purchasing the car I removed the VR6 engine and replaced with a Mk 5 Golf R32 engine. The donor engine came from a 58 plate car and had covered 9000 miles. The conversion was carried out so that the motor runs as the manufacturer intended, i.e utilising VVT and lambda control. To do this the standard R32 ecu (Bosch ME7.1) and wiring was used. Spec: ENGINE: mk5 r32 (3.2L) POWER : dyno'd @ 280bhp TORQUE : 285 lb/ft GEARBOX : RE-BUILT 5 speed VR6 gearbox, with the fitment of a WAVETRAC limited slip differential. Best LSD for the o2a gearbox. New gearbox mount. EXHAUST: From the CAT-back section the car runs a Supersprint system incorporating both a middle and back box. From the manifolds, I have had a custom downpipe fabricated, with professionally welded lambda probe bosses. The entire exhaust is stainless steel with 2.5" piping. ENGINE BAY: New aluminium radiator Fuel pressure regulator Modified bonnet release (weak Corrado mechanism) Uprated headlight wiring loom Davies Craig slimline 11" fan with Panasonic motor. Mocal Oil cooler New Battery SUSPENSION: FK coilovers... fitted brand new in 2011. (top mounts, ball joints, bottom arm bushes renewed and car 4 wheel aligned at same time) BRAKES: Upgraded to 288mm calipers, discs and pads. Rear- standard EXTERIOR: Fully professional resprayed...minor stone chips on front bumper. 90mm chin splitter (also have a 50mm item) de-badged grill tinted red rear lights Sunroof works. Spoiler working fine, very free on sliders. Works automatically and with the button. New fog lights. INTERIOR: Very tidy heated black leather interior. Black dashboard. Corrado mats. Alpine headunit with remote running standard speakers. Uncut parcel shelf. WHEELS AND TYRES: Currently fitted mint standard 15" speedlines with good tires all round. Included with sale, EURO X 3pc split rims, 16". no tyres TO DO: Needs a CAN-BUS converter (about £60) to make the rev counter work. Could do with relocating battery to the boot. PICS TAKEN ON PHONE , CAR LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON! 07960424656 thanks for viewing
  2. Hi mate, car is still available. Drop me a text if want more details, 07960424656, thanks
  3. Hey yeah this is mine, thanks for the link mate.
  4. Hi Kev, ur car is absolutely awesome!! I wouldnt worry too much about flatness in the factory management as mine has been in 2 years and never once felt flat/limp anywhere through he range......and pretty quick too running 13.5 1/4s, better if not traction limited! Anyhow i was just curious as to what hardware/software u will use so that u can play with the ME7 ecu? I have been on the lookout for something also. Thanks

  7. hi mate, i need the passenger side outer window seal....sits on the door frame....cant make out from ur pics if u have it......if u do and its in decent nik ill have it please....thanks very much. atif
  8. hey, just to clarify mate, i meant the small pump filter actually attached to the bottom of the in tank fuel pump at the pick up...not the fuel filter,,,mine was completely full of crap from the bottom of the tank
  9. this happened to me also....the pump filter was completely clogged up! could check that
  10. hi mate 12v tensioner wont fit....u will need a 4motion one. i have exact same setup. belt is a 4mo no aircon 1. look for tensioner at a scrappers , its about £100 from dealers.
  11. nice link kev.....what kind of prices are they for them top mounts? cheers
  12. I did mine by wiring live to the thinnest red n white wire (i think), and the earth to the fat brown one which is earth in the loom. This way only gives u stage 1 fan speed though
  13. yes thats the one u need....bout £30 for both from the dealers.
  14. Hey yeah the engines are fly by wire, though i believe alfa throttle bodies can be made to fit and then a small mod to accept the throttle cable, for those who dnt like the feel of an electric pedal, i dnt mind it and it was dead easy to screw a pedal in and plug in. Dont worry about not being able to get clocks, keys, transponder as the immobiliser can be defeated when sorting the ecu. Mk4 or mk5 r32 engines can be used, just a fuel pressure regulator and new alternator/pas bracket needed on thed mk5. Audi a3/tt engines are also very good and available, i mixed an audi loom onto a r32 engine no probs. Good luck, and be careful when buying an engine.
  15. Hey, this is an awesome conversion and one i would strongly suggest....as for costs my car owes me just over £6.7k, but that included buyin the car @£2.5k....a lsd an fitting @ £800, engine, lambdas, accelerator pedal ~£1300....loom, remap, ecu programming £900 including fitting by south west in car tech. The rest is the cost of exhaust, coilover suspension, new bushes, oil cooler etc. To be honest i did all the mechanicals myself and fitted all engine, suspension, new steering parts @ hme on the driveway with a small jack and halfords tool kit. Only the exhaust i farmed out, to make a custom dwnpipe which is a work of art and cost me £250....The tt dash conversion frightens me more tbh, this u really could tackle yourself, i did mine within a few weeks. The character of the 3.2 can be softened in the throttle mapping to make it less jerky. U alredy own the car, if a lsd and remapping for extra power arent necessary, u could do this conversion into ur car 4 £2500 if u look around and find a well priced engine , with both looms, a maf and 2 pre cat lambda sensors...and an accelerator pedal........... Need any help just post up.......although quicky1980's r32 conversion guide is very very good.....
  16. camber is easily adjusted, and also easy to check if its out...are your tyres wearing unevely inside to out? a wishbone bush could cause this issue, i felt slight drifting so uprated to r32 bushes...a world of difference and only £35 from dealers.
  17. is the tread pattern on both front tyres the same?
  18. i change oil and filter every 6000 miles as a rule.....my engine is 2 years old, and just come upto 21,000 miles.
  19. I used a mocal non thermo sandwich plate and 13 row cooler mounted behind the front bumper bottom grill, but my mfa doesnt work obviously after the conversion....really need to wire a gauge up. The r32 heat exchanger fouls the front mount bracket. I got mine to fit by cutting the bracket down and re-welding in braces , but the material i removed was too much and on an agressive launch the engine slipped forward breaking the bracket and piercing the cooler........by the way i vagcommed my car yday and after 15 mins driving my idle coolant temp was 96 and then the fan kicked in.....is this normal......... Also would the r32 see higher oil temps due to the fact it runs a leaner mixture until under W0T?? Thanks
  20. ey dont knock doing an r32 conversion, i have and love it every day, mine is around 280bhp, so not a massive amount but i love it every day, and i comfortably dispatched of a remappd focus rs with a claimed 350bhp. those cars are as said heavy, feel cumbersome and the ponies under the bonnet dont feel rampant like german ones. i realise a 20vt conversion produces more power for less outlay, but for me the 6pot character is the appeal.....the noise and torque!! :D ........i had my corrado weighed and with me in it and half a tank fuel it was 1205kg! 232bhp/tonne! so not slow...
  21. Im layin in bed with man flu.....but majik that sounds like some andre 3000 to me lol.........my under bonnet soundproofing also disintegrates almost daily!!
  22. Maybe top mounts are shot?
  23. Hi all, since doin my conversion i've had an awful brake pedal feel, very spongey with long travel....i fitted 288's and bled the system but to no avail. Then i searched hereand read last nite to also bleed the nipples on the master cylinder and abs pump. Wen i looked a few mins ago the nipple on the M.C has snapped off!! So im tryna source 1 and swap em. I was just wondering how difficult and whats involved in actually changing it? E.g......2 bolts 20 min job or an all day nightmare? I hant had a look yet so would appreciate a pointer.....thanks all
  24. I havent worked out my mpg yet but i am getting between 175 and 200 miles from £50 fuel......i dnt drive it easy tho.....but have gt a slight blow on my exhaust. Plus mines is mapped and i onli use vpower @ £1.20/ litre....so not tooo bad i think.
