I had an offer like that once on my valver. The guy offered my 3k at the time, 6-7 months later I sold it for 2150 lol. I really want an e36 m3 especially as the twats that gave em a bad name have moved on to e46's now but insurance is too high and I wouldn't dare try running one along side a rado!

Pictures of door triangles with tweeters in them?
Abdul replied to Portent's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
That was the plan Rob but I'm pretty sure I'll just screw em in and leave em at that as I always change my set up which would render any builds useless. -
Your welcome mate... I do like bubble wrap lol.

I find the tweeters are too bright in that position. Sound reflecting off the glass I guess... -
Thanks mate.. Screw the sump lol. Going to run a plated 12v steel sump. :) ---------- Post added at 11:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:24 AM ---------- 15mm was the original plan btw, I'm hopin to get 20mm up front and 10mm on the rear. I can't help it.
-
Haha you don't count Rob!
-
Like I said on edition this is spot on! Love everything about it! Can't believe you paid $400 for one 195/40 though lol!
-
Yeah they're right fat *******s. I thought they'd have been similar in dimension to yours lol. Oh well!
-
Lol no probs dude. There are too many corrado's in this thread for my own good!

Cheers guys. Tentonhammer the ride height is untouched freon when I had the old wheels on. Rob, your lights are on the car but red. Cheers H. Jiggaaaaa thanks man. Karl; had no choice, the 3mm's I had wouldn't clear and neither would the 6mm's. I reckon 8mm would have done it! Abdul :)

As above guys, selling these as I have new wheels, no tyres included. They're team dynamics mesh 3. They're 17x7.5 and around et 35 iirc. More pics tomorrow once they're cleaned but for now: http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/index.php?cmd=viewproduct&id=1212 They have satin black centres which are in good nick as are the bolts etc but the lips need refurbing. Porsche centre caps included. £120 collected from ilford, essex. If anyone takes these and my steering wheel and boss I'll let the lot go for £190. Cheers Abdul

Ok detailing was finished, kinda half arsed in the end but meh. I ended up doing the lot other then the bonnet in one hit with Menz intensive polish, couldn't be bothered to refine it with final finish. It's actually got some shine now where as it was near satin before. I actually got rid of more or less all of the swirls but then made the mistake of letting my cousin apply the sealant to my car (poorboys blackhole). What he didn't mention to me was that the pad he used dropped on the floor face down before he used it the plum. So now my fresh..ish paint is swirly again. DOH! Either way all is good as I wasn't aiming for full correction, the aim was to bring back the shine. I was thinking of wet sanding the car but then the paint job is poor anyway and imo it would be a waste of effort... I got a set of standard tail lights off Rob on this forum and tinted them myself, need to flat them back and polish them though... also dewipered it while I was at it. New wheels too, thanks to Karl for the Azev's... Had an absolute nightmare getting em on the front due to spacers, longer bolts and porka calipers, long story but 3 hours, 2 tyre shops, 10 over sized bolts, 10 undersized bolts and 6 sets of spacers later the wheels were on but they sit really badly up front atm. I'm running 15mm spacers all round but once the porka's come off next week and 288's go on I'm taking the spacers off the front and dropping the front 15mm or so. Enough waffling, pics! Sorry they're iphone snaps again, once the stance is sorted i'll take some nice pics! Rears sit spot on Fronts are wack Thanks for looking Abdul ---------- Post added at 1:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 1:19 AM ---------- Looking at those pics I think I prefer the wheels without the caps lol. Also, scratch the lowering plans, 10mm rear, 25mm front. It looks ridiculous right now... lol

Its not a bad place to have em for convenience sake but sound wise you'd be far better off having em in the mirror triangle thingys or the a pillars. -
Neil the roof line is lower but the arch gap is horrendous!
-
Neil I think obd2, 288s, lowering kits (when subtle) etc can be counted as OEM+ and I doubt they'd reduce value. For me personally they'd add value. Factory original is cool too IMO but the ride height will always be shocking no matter how much of a classic the car becomes lol.
-
Just for reference these won't clear porka calipers without spacers. 5mm wouldn't clear mine, ended up going 15 as its all I had but I reckon 7-8mm spacer would do it... GLWS Jay

Sorry to add another reply, can't edit for some reason... I'd swap for some DDI dials, they've suddenly taken my fancy!

I see what your saying Baz but Vr's can be real money pits when you buy cheap imo. Obviously you could get lucky and have years of trouble free motoring... Matt, Mk2 prices are bloody ridiculous imo. I don't know why an ABF'd driver dropped on some 15" RS' keeps popping up in my head lol. I couldn't have one though, too unrefined. It would be interesting to know how much these cars are actually selling for...

Bump... £80 collected. £95 posted. No offers please :)

Audio Sytem Build. Medium/ High Spec. Front End Pref. Discreet.
Abdul replied to tentonhammer's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
There are indeed better products but it comes down to your requirements. The stuff I use is mostly used by spl boys and weighs an absolute shed load. Makes dynamat feel cheap lol. Having said that I've also used dynamat and would say its good but you can get better vfm elsewhere. Do a search on talkaudio. For a bare basics set up id go with 5.25" comps with the front doors deadened and the tweeters in the a pillar. Amp those and run a sub that suits your needs and voila. Ditch the rear speakers. If you really don't want a sub try getting hold of genesis 6x9 subs and knock up a stealth shelf. Edit: what Pete said about sound deadening is spot on. You don't need to cover every bit of bare metal. -
Pics and price for the above H?

Is it me or have corrado's gone up in price in the last month or so? Judging by the adds on here, ph, eBay etc I would certainly say people are asking more lol. Good thing for current owners I guess! Yay me for getting in there before the inflation lol. Abdul ;)

The switch is the same as a polo 6n which is probably why... Mine went too lol. It's a bit of an annoying job but easy with a bit of patience.
