Ah Baz mate, f*ckin classic!
-
I just finished watching Inception, holey moley im not going to sleep now. Best film i've seen in ages, everyone and i mean everyone needs to watch it. 10/10, can't fault it.

Celica for me... Also consider Honda preludes from the mid 90's with the digital clusters. 2.something vtech and 200bhp aint bad plus its a honda so all is good.

Use orange with led's with resistors.

Tbh, as a first car they're both out of most peoples reach here in the UK. Where you are i'm not too sure and it depends on how handy you are with a spanner or how deep your pockets are for maintenance? 195k G60 for $1500 sounds fine aswell btw.

Any precautions needed before a big run out?
Abdul replied to stingman123's topic in General Car Chat
I did 250miles yesterday in mine and the vr is better for it. I always keep a hose repair kit on me just in case lol, I hate leaks. -
This, it could've been nice but they ruined it. The rocco's not exactly great looking either though.
-
No worries mate
-
I'm with you guys. Sat at 94 all the way from London to boston today and back doing 80-90.
-
No worries I feel your pain dude, just left uni myself (21) lol. Cheers
-
Oh thanks mate, appreciate the kind words. It's always great to gt a few compliments!! Oh and dont worry I'm making a come back with that look one more time, check my thread in a few weeks!! I'd personally advice you keep an eye out for 2nd hand schimmels as thy are tried and tested but if you want brand new snap up the dg cams, they seem similar enough!
-
350 iirc "by the way nice car mate I had a read up of your build thread the other day, the car is a credit to you :salute: " Mine??
-
Welll then SURELY you'll be wanting a G60? All the handling of the short chassis with all the grunt of the VR....  If they didn't sound the way they do i'd be all over it... Eaton'd valver though 8)
-
Yup lol... I'm going to hold onto it for a while, use it a bit later on i guess.
-
Handling is awesome with the Weitec's right, im going to get a set for my next rado lol.
-
Oil temp most of the time but on a run i do check my mpg quite a bit...
-
I don't agree Ben, i prefer valvers lol but thats because i do alot of a/b road blasting. I'm sure that would be different if i did any motorway driving at all, either way nice purchase leese1984. Is it dark burgundy pearl??
-
Hey iceviolet, don't mind me jumping in but dazfxvw do you have any other ice grey parts??

Anyone recommend a good garage in South London?
Abdul replied to jpowell79's topic in Suppliers Forum
It's not in South London, but in Enfield, North London... Auto Torque/Torque Exhausts, ask for Nick and say Abdul with the corrado sent you... 02088059995. I've used em for years now and tbh they've always been top notch, they deal with a few other local dubs and rado's too. -
If you do go for coilovers and want the most comfortable ride possible i'd advice you to get FK konigsports. I had em on my mk3 and my current vr and honestly the ride is awesome, admitedly it doesn't handle quite as well as my old valver on weitecs (more or less the same as kw's) or my friends vr on kw V2's but seriously its so much more comfortable. Mind you my dampers are set to the softest setting so i guess you could toughen up the handling a bit by stiffening them up.
-
The sound!!!
-
Nice Vr dude, can't wait to see what you do with it. Mk2 was killer!
-
Cheers dudes, so the mani, throttle body, control box and vacum unit? Righto cheers, will let u know how i get on. It's still fitted to his car and he's not sure which parts to take off lol.

Hi guys, purchased one blindly from a mates mate last week and need to collect it this weekend, now i'm wondering other than the actual manifold what else should be included? Cheers, Abdul
