I heard there's a guy called Ant who make new wings and other repair panels for the Corrado. Does anyone know his contact details or website URL?

I've recently removed the rear axle and got the old bushes out etc. The axle's going in to be powder coated. Once this has been done, can anyone recommend somebody who has the VAG 3111 tool? Or is it best to try and MacGuyver the new bushes in with some kind of home brewed tool?

I am in need of some rear backing plates. Have you got any further with getting these produced?

I get also a gearstick vibration on my VR6 Storm when in 5th gear and I lift off the gas. The rattle is audible and visible as it rattles away. Immediately stops once you give it some gas.

Just fitted my new door handle repair kit. Very well made, just the job. Had a right nightmare with the pivot pin, ended up drilling out half the metal from the broken striker plate around it.

I bought a pair of these and they are no good. The passenger side wiper only contacts the windscreen on the top and the bottom of the wiper, leaving a huge area covered in rain in the middle. The driver side is only marginally better.

Do you have any further information about the suspension? Brand, age, amount lowered by. I'm mostly interested in the rears.

Is the car lowered? If so, what's the rear suspension set up? I'd be interested in buying the shocks and springs for both sides if they are uprated and lowered. My Weitec rear springs have had it and I'm looking for a decent replacement.

Sean, do you have these coilovers? My Rado just failed its MOT due to a broken Weitec rear coilover.

Did these sell? Are they for a VR6?

I think Cars and Coffee was down in Redditch in the Midlands. Not too sure when the next one is. A little meet up at Snake Pass Inn could work in the meantime.

Good job I made a move when I did, I got back to the Rado to find a Traffic Warden looking for my non-existent parking ticket. Made up an excuse and burned rubber!

Just got a pretty sweet deal from Lancaster insurance on my VR6. £366 comprehensive, £450 excess. Including agreed valuation! Mods: Lowered with a stainless exhaust. 7 years no claims, 28 year old male. Inner Manchester postcode I'm flippin' ecstatic!!

My oil temp runs at around 90-110c when up to temp, depends on how fast I'm driving. Water stays at around 90-100.

As far as I know, the cam chain and tensioners on my VR6 have never been serviced. When idleing I can hear the chain making a "chinking" sound, it stops when the revs are increased. She's done 110,000 miles and I'm considering getting it sorted. Can any one recommended any Corrado speciallists around the Northwest/Midlands? Stealth quoted £700 + VAT, and they advised the clutch will be replaced in that price too. DG Autotech quoted £1000-£1200 + VAT Seems like a huge difference in prices. :scratch:
