  1. Very nicely worded Dannyboy....and I think I go through each and every action you describe every time I take the Rado out! Doesn't mean I don't want to beat the hell out of it every now and then but who doesn't?!?! Mark
  2. On my V3s rebound is adjusted at the top using a 2pm allen key - the fronts are a cinch to do, but the rears are much more troublesome to get to due to the parcel shelf supports.... I would assume V2s are the same but might be wrong... Mark
  3. Anyone thinking of heading to Santa Pod this weekend? It's £20 on the gate which I know seems a bit strong, but there's plenty going on so should be better value than certain other shows... I'm thinking of bowling along on Sunday. Mark
  4. I only joined in June, so haven't received anything yet - Judith explained that Vicki is probably still processing it so should be with me soon. I may have jumped the gun a bit to be honest as I thought it had been longer than it has. Still, I'll let you know when things turn up or indeed if postie let's the side down. Thanks Mark
  5. I agree some of the interior parts would be very handy - steering cowl and centre console spring to mind, you could spray them Matt black if the CF weave wasn't desired.... Mark
  6. Thanks Judith and Kip from me too for the PMs and sorting things out so quickly. Mark
  7. Hi Alex For the numpties amongst us, can you state the cost of a full set posted please? Thanks Mark
  8. ....Hmmmm, good point - I don't think I ever got my number either actually.
  9. That's probably the ABS controller though....
  10. My setup also has a hole in the leaf guard. I did look at reducing the length of the rack on the operating motor but if you cut it down you wouldn't be able to have the flap either fully open or fully closed depending on how you mounted it. The consequences of a retro fit system I guess... Mark
  11. Simon Blackburn at Strictly Dubs used to be able to get hold of Schimmel stuff, don't know if they still can, but worth a call...
  12. Excellent news Dave - I'll have a set in stainless steel when you're ready! lol M.
  13. I'm finding all pages seem to default to the mobile theme too. If you click full site you go to the home page, but that's the only page that will display in that style. Also finding some pages keep coming up with "error loading page" - including this one, hence I'm writing this on the laptop.... Hopefully Andi's got an easy fix.... Mark
  14. I think I've done that at some point with virtually every car I've owned!!
  15. I've received a large slice of FA as well. eBay dispute opened, for all the good it will do....
  16. ....I've got a mk2 eibach front brace on my VR6. It's a bit of a fiddle to drill the holes due to the rain tray, but that's probably true for whatever engine. Mark
  17. Mmmm shiny, must resist..... no good, I can't! I'll have a set Dave - Pm on it's way. Mark
  18. Not that I've actually received my parts yet, but for the record Tom did have the courtesy of responding to a PM to explain he'd been swamped but had managed to get things in the post... As I said, nothing received yet but I'll let everyone know if anything comes through (and hopefully vice versa if you guys receive anything). M.
  19. Morning all I'm hoping some of the resident big brains on here might be able to offer some advice on a non-corrado engine problem. My brother has one of those diesel escort vans (a truly thrilling drive!) which has developed an oil leak. He recently had the sump replaced and we thought that perhaps the seal hadn't been properly installed. So, he took it back to the garage who claimed it wouldn't be that and after a bit of fiddling, announced that the engine was 'blocked'(?). They took the oil cap off and showed him there was quite a lot of air blowing from it and then disconnected some breather pipes to show there was no air coming from them which there apparently should be. Is it plausible for these airways to become blocked causing enough pressure to force oil past the sump gasket? What is it that could cause the blockage, sediment in the oil or fuel?? As always, any advice is much appreciated. Mark
  20. I'm still waiting for four items from Tom. Come on my man, get a wiggle on! Mark
  21. Mine's only got about a fingers worth of gap (I know that's a bit too low, but it looks good!) and the place I used didn't have a problem with it... drove much better after too! I think it depends on what sort of rig they've got; the one I used had the sensors and target attached to the ramp with a spacing device going to the wheel - didn't need to wrap them around the tyre so ride height was incidental. Try looking at some alternative garages near you to see if anyone has a similar system. Or, just do what Kev says, he's bound to be right! Mark
  22. Yeah, My Isotta wheel is fitted using a momo boss.
