Cheers guys! Im loving it but its a massive change from the Corrado, didnt have to worry where I drove that but this actually caught the sills on the floor today trying to get it on my dads driveway :shock: at least I wont drive it fast so will save me loads in fuel

Im a manager at a petrol station and you wouldnt believe the amount of abuse we get about petrol prices. They all think we are raking it in and making millions when in fact at the min we are actually losing money on unleaded and making about 1.5 pence per litre on diesel. The worst is when someone puts in super unleaded and doesnt realise and then realises after, they go mad!!

I know its not a Corrado but thought you might like to see it. Picked it up yesterday, I absolutely love it. Its running some polished Merc rims (I think they are from a S500) and lowered quite alot on Weitec GT coilovers. Comments good or bad appreciated

Was chattin to a mate on MSN last night and he told me a couple of days ago he saw a purple Corrado on back of a flatbed truck being taken into a yard in Bolton, most of the car was burnt out. He paniced at first thinking it was mine but mine had been locked away at work all week waiting for the new owner. Hope it didnt belong to anyone on here, anyone know anything about it??

Yea Ive seen something about the special edition one with the £36k brakes. Arent ceramic brakes meant to last a life time though so they wont ever need replacing??

Stunning machines. Just up the road from where Mrs Rat works is a guy with a grey GTR on his driveway. He also has a white R34 GTR and a 350Z, the git.

Last night in Leyland, was comin down near Tesco and passed a Corrado (cant remember what colour) think it was a 16v, I waved, got a wave back, I was driving Emma's MK4 Golf. Bit furthrer down the road there was a dark blue VR, filthy!!!

I think this scheme is one of the stupidest things ever!!! Perfectly good cars that cost not much to run are going to be scrapped for new shit boxes. Wouldnt be so bad if the dealers were allowed to break them or sell them on but being made to scrap them is just ridiculous

Yea my mate said it was alot of hassle breaking the G40, he only did it as he crashed it and the shell was un-repairable. I think I just need to be more patient, something Im not good at!!

Yea mine is the one from VW Audi mag. I would hate to break it, suppose if it will only make £1500 or there abouts then I should be more patient!

Does anyone have any experience of breaking one?? A friend of mine just broke his Polo G40 for bits and made more than he bought the car for a year ago. Just a thought, am I going to be better breaking my VR to get my money out of it seeing as its not selling? How much can you get out of one??
