I went into the Merc dealers in Blackburn last year to find out some info for my stepdad as he wanted to lease a new Merc. I was in my work gear so steel toe boots, black combats, black dirty t-shirt (it was warm so had short sleeves on, tattoo's on display) and a black beanie hat. As I walked in I noticed a new E63AMG so had a nosey around that, as you would. A salesman came over to me and TBH I expected him to tell me to keep my grubby mitts away from the car but instead he was very helpful and polite, even asked me if I wanted any info about the car. One of my mates works for Merc so have heard lots of stories from him about how bad the service can be, espcially from the sales team

Just had an email from a friendly chap who has seen my car advert on Pistonheads and informed me that my car is the one used in a road test for VW Audi Car magazine in August 1995 and is on the cover!! Tried to find a copy of it online but cant so have any of you good people got a copy or a link to it so I can see it? Would love to see the pictures and read it.

On the latest shape Discovery to change a fuel pump belt (or something like that) you have to remove the entire body!!! Try doing that on the driveway.

Well when we get a house I will be doing like 40 miles a day to and from work so there is no way I can afford to use it. Im really bad with money so for once Im being sensible!! Will no doubt regret it when Im driving a diesel about but we all have to make sacrifices now and then. Besides, it will make me work harder to get a M5 in a few years hehe

Everything is fine, just cant afford to keep it and get a house at the same time. I will miss it like crazy but sure I will get another one day.

Mine is doing a similar thing, it cuts out and refuses to start again for ages. Replaced the 109 relay last week and its done it again today. Just had it checked on diagnostics and its saying a fault with the 109 relay again! Its really annoying me now, what can be causing this relay to shut the engine off? It was a genuine VW relay I fitted too
