You've got to be looking at 170+ with plenty of torque for that spec. I bet with the lightened flywheel it really picks up quick when you come on cam. nick It's making 165bhp with 146lb ft of torque, quite pleased with that  with a stealth remap vince says it should push 170

Went to Stealth today for a rolling road test, thought i would post up the results. It made 165 bhp + 146 lb ft . I was pretty pleased with that and John+ Vince thought it was quite good figures for a valver. Cheers guys, Vince also helped out over the phone with my engine rebuild, top dude!! :salute: video http://s272.photobucket.com/albums/jj17 ... VR0001.flv

will the nice braided fuel lines from the 1.8 16v fit my 2.0 16v? will the injectors unscrew from the old lines and fit the braided ones? the braided ones look a lot prettier :camp:
-
I thought andy665 had one on his old nugget.
-
i had almost the exact same problem with my 2.0 16v 9a, and after lots of testing of various components we changed the haul sensor within the distributor. now it runs spot on.

35 -vanilla sky? 36 - seven? -
Cheers! The pistons were £450, by far the most expensive individual part of the build. I went for 0.5 oversized slightly up on compression with a rebore as the bores were lipped and scored a bit .

I got the flywheel and manifold 2nd hand from good old ebay, just had to keep looking and bidding :dorky: As for the pistons, they came from a specialist engine shop. All the other parts are o.e . Now its bedded in it drives mint, a big difference from standard  I have booked it in to have a rolling road session at stealth in january and will post up the stats when i get them.
-
got mine too when i got in this eve  . lovin' the wheels on it , what are they?
-
changed my crank sensor + complete dizzy and now it runs perfect, yipeeee

also found some pics of my recent engine rennovation /rebuild. The manifold took me 6 bloody hours to wrap :mad2: . it was a right sh#*@y job 'cos i had the wrap in a bucket of water and it was graphite impregnated. I looked like i had been up a chimney  was worth it in the end though. Rebuild spec; JE forged Pistons Lightened flywheel new shells and bearings fully rebuilt and ported head new water pump new dizzy and all ignition parts new alternator all new belts stainless 4 branch wrapped manifold exhaust customised to fit (two boxes) lots of painted and powdercoated bits

mine did it too when the oil got really low , it did it a few times before the warning light came on
-
does this system have a flattened section where it goes over the rear beam? mine is knocking a bit because of being very low, this may do the trick :)
