I had same problem with myn Dave.. replaced the switch then shortly after the starter motor no probs since.. the switch is abit of a pain to get to but takes no time at all to swap over etc..

cheers for the reply... I have got a new filter but havent had chance to fit it.. could that be causing the noise???

Ok, update, replaced the lift pump & noticed that I get a huming noise like it pulsing?? the pumps have now both been replaced, drives fine not had any problems.. is the pump meant to make this werid noise?? maybe I can hear it more as the interiors stripped??? dont help the as the central locking has a leak so to many noises lol anyone got any ideas??

I do like some private plates.. I got pulled lastnight for not running a plate on the front lol & the copper followed me to my house.. shame he couldnt do anything as car wasnt on the road ;-)
