Hey Its a jack up job,lambda is located at the front top of the cat - 22 mm spanner required to change. The lambda wiring plug is located on the n/s lower of the fire wall, next to the downpipe Regards Paul

Currently im running a standard abv rado with only a change of converting to obd2, Engine was fully rebuilt about 6000 miles ago, all new and requiring oversize pistons. Im shortly gonna be fitting 263 cams along with gruven power pulleys and New south performance gasket etc.. Question; :scratch: Was going to get my standard injectors cleaned and tested coz god knows when they were last looked at but Is it worth just upgrading my injectors? I will be going for a remap when done BUT -Will i see any benifits/ gains for going bigger injectors with my setup? Or is it a needless expense and less fuel economy? Thanks paul

Hey Your diagnostic plug is located below your gear lever surround. gently lift the rear of the surround and it will pop up exposing the diagnostic plug. Vr plug has a single big plug. early valvers are the two small plugs i believe Paul

Saw a black L reg looked like a vr About 8 this morning outside south molton on the A361. looked tidy and v shiny...

Spotted two black rado's on A361 outside Barnstaple around 3 today, :) waved at the first and my girlfriend spotted the second a mile or so later..

:D If you get stuck for parts or require items for expedition etc give my work a look at devon4x4.com With the egr crap removed and the fuel collar ditched it will certainly be more crisp.

Its more like my works forum, :) 300 tdi is a good choice mate, fair bullet proof and easy to repair anywhere.. Oversize intercooler and tweaking the fuel pump will make it a much livlier beast.. paul

Hey I bought a obd2 conversion ages back, just wanted to double check if the ecu is correct as the obd2 listing numbers are all higher and off later models. Ecu is dated 06.10.95 part no 021 906 256 Thanks paul

Yeah sanded it all smooth :D I did concider leaving it rough but couldn't help myself... Happy with how it turned out though. Plus getting it laquered magnifies any imperfections, so smooth seemed the way to go for me.

Hey Ive just bought a ob2 setup and i have sourced another rado loom. Plan being to canibolise the two looms when time allows and not have my car in bits for ages, then one weekend change everything over. Hopefully that way it wont be off the road for long, Being my daily vehicle. Question: :scratch: Is the rado loom from fusebox to engine plug the same as my 93 abv with coilpack - as a 94? i should have more details on the 94 loom soon. Haven't bought the loom as yet but dictates if i do. Anyone see a problem with how i intend to convert my loom? My only thought was a differnt loom is a unknown if everything was working correct but continuity checking should sort that. paul

Hey It idles pretty evenly, it pulses about when on the very of lightest throttle applications ie crawling in traffic or trying to stay within the speed limits. When just above and flat out throttle the car behaves as normal, just flat for a vr6
