We must have a spaz cat then as our cat loves citrus, missus made a lemon drizzle cake a few weeks back, left it out cooling and the cheeky fecking cat devowered half of it before being caught. What made me laugh was the cat seeing its been busted, chewing ten to the dozzen to get as much down its throat before getting booted up the ass..

Scumbags........ Scum that do this should be put in stocks and beaten by the genral public within a inch of their lives with bamboo sticks, then passed onto the courts.. :2gunfire: Did they steal much? P*****d me off when mine got broken into lastyear by smashing the rear quarter glass , the only night i parked it on the road and not on my drive in a year and half living there...- They took cds my oakleys, Vag com lead and went through the whole car for goodies What annoyed me most was them taking a lever to my dash to remove the stereo :bad-words: they failed to remove the stereo just smashed the center consul to s**t. Hope you get it sorted soon

I always see it as you buy it with your heart and not your brain. Growing up i always walked past my neighbours mk1 golf gti on my way to school and thought hmm i love it, by the time i was old enough to drive it was nothing but a rusted out shed but i would have still had it if he had offered it... When i saw a corrado for the first time and heard a vr on full chat i pretty much made up my mind there and then IM GETTING ONE.... Yes over the years its cost loads to maintain, being part of this forum can be alot like being a kid in a candy shop aswel as there is always something that u tell yourself you need  Everyone thinks im nuts for plowing money into my corrado, but they dont drive one to get the grin factor (when its running right) AND as i see it - if its not raping you financially whats the point of working your ass off if your not having something you enjoy. Paul

One here, but it does state that its stripped down for upgrading pistons so would need putting back together - no loom or ecu but might be worth a look  £750 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2395169.htm

For speed, finish and ease of use i would buy the lever style every day of the week. I recon you could flare ten pipes ends easily to one using the screw type.
-
I use this style of flaring tool through work and have to say its a good bit of kit. It does the job fine on all types of pipe and with the lever style you can give it some grief if the pipe is hard The standard flaring ends worked ok when i redid all my brake lines. OFF CAR BRAKE PIPE FLARING TOOL • Lever cam action for quick flaring off the vehicle • Automatic punch extraction from flare • Produces both convex & double lap flares to SAE & DIN standard (3/16" & 4.75mm pipe) • Other sizes available • All components available individually PART No. ALB30626

Brake light fuse keeps blowing... Solved thanks all
winchbietch replied to VR6matty's topic in Drivetrain
Have you taken the brake light bulbs out to see if it still blows the fuse? If it doesn't put a bulb back in one at a time and try it, if one of them trips the fuse. That will narrow down where the fault and area We had a problem like this years back at work and it turned out to be brand new bulb had a flaw in Paul -
Black chrome looks good aswell...

Its nice that one of my work collegues has loads of space on his farm, and his parents are fairly leaniant on time frames.. The only downer that i was only two aware of is that its a hour and a bit drive to work on the car and same back. Makes working on it during the week in the evenings a late one or as ive been doing long seven day weeks for the past five months.... Next time i will try and find a place closer. lol Originally i thought two months i would have it done, but when i started stripping things it dawned that it made sense to renew / referb as i went along. Its amazing how many bodged bits of wiring ive come across, and wondered how the hell things had worked let alone not burned the car out. The main thing for me has been to get things done now as i had the white vr for five years and in that time i fully rebuilt the engine, oversized pistons etc...but being a daily drive i could never properly take it off the road long enough to make it like new. Time moved on and with all the snow it ate the crap out the white shell. Now ive got a fresh start with a mint corrosion free shell and a daily runner consisting of a throw away clio to use as a moble parts /tool wagon, its nice not having a care where i park or strange noises going onwhilst driving. lol One things for sure this forum is great to be a part of, and there are alot of cars on here that i would sell my left nut to own... Hopefully the end result will be worth it, il save adding up the cost till its done... :) Paul

The yellow cable is made redundant, using only the grey / white wire. I de pinned the yellow wire from the plug when i did mine and had no issues when using vag com. I had the same queery but the answer is on here - about two thirds down the page http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewto ... sc&start=0 Paul

The Official Corrado Campaign thread (where are they now)
winchbietch replied to James.'s topic in General Car Chat
Looking through Google earlier and one was sold to tcs on 10 sept 2007. Is this the one you think went to Ireland? Owner was on the retro car club with user name of sciroccorrado, located in leicestershire He listed it as being written off in 1999 but having been rebuilt with full AA report. http://www.retrocarclub.co.uk/forums/to ... paign-vr6/ Paul -
I confirmed my order with them today, i guess we will see friday what discount we are eligable for. Dan as we are individually contacting Amber,is it worth updating page one on who has paid? Then when friday comes round you will have everything in black and white, should there be any confusion on numbers / sets. :thumb right: Thanks for sorting the group buy Paul
