  1. A little bling,if you look closely, you can see my chrome seat belt anchors Got bored, and turned these-in my lathe,
  2. I bought this many moons ago, when vw did Corrado parts, kept it in my loft until it was time again to do the matrix This went in last winter, and today, I put a new heater fan in,mainly because of Heritage’s 20%off Black Friday deal, Does seem to spin faster, only a 10 minute job
  3. All new sponges for the passenger seat, dropped the seat and foam in Saturday morning, the drivers seat is about 50% done,it was surprising how much the old foams had deteriorated,
  4. I did the solid column years ago, it does make it feel a lot more positive, The cowls are getting hard to find, early and late “bottoms” are the same, just different part numbers, tops are different due to the hazard light ! Had the car in the body shop last Xmas, new sills, (eBay ones)came galvanised.Fitted really well, rear arches were showing signs of tin worm, so scored a set of second hand arches of eBay, cleaned up like new ! Front wings were not good, couldn’t find a decent set of late wings,so got a set of used “early”wings from a breaker local to me (eBay again) nearly rust free, the metal seems thicker on the earlier wings ! Body shop did a really good job putting it all together, bottom of the car was resprayed ,looks new again, struggling to put pics up at the moment
  5. I must update this more regularly, I did the Polo rear brake upgrade, really easy bolt on, everything fits as it should, and no silly tapered bearings ! ABS was a straight fit, if you do a lot of miles like me, go for it. If anybody is interested, I have all the part numbers, sorry only got them for a four stud car P.S. now on 297k, drivers seat out being re-trimmed, so slumming it on an old fabric seat
  6. For full closure, the Corrado uses a green plastic “thingy” Really not a job for the faint hearted
  7. Haven’t got round to it yet, I sort of fixed it,I unplugged the light [emoji3] Probably do it next week, when I’ve got a bit more time, I will post 5he outcome
  8. I can confirm they are the same as a mk2 golf, as that’s what’s on mine !
  9. I guessed as much, as it was used on a few models, thanks for the reply
  10. ABS light came on, had my local garage run vancom, turns out it’s the brake pedal sensor ! luckily I bought a spare many moons ago before they went extinct . After un-wrapping it,(foiled bag) I have the coloured plastic bits in a separate bag, I can’t find anything in the Bentley manual, does anyone know where they go ? or will it be self explanatory when I take the old one out
  11. I’m with Greenlight, mine too went down,
  12. Must of been on the Redbull [emoji3]
