  1. There’s different colours on left and right, I have both as spares, I too, don’t know what side is which [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]
  2. M25 Saturday morning, cars in front stopped quickly, I stopped, car behind didn’t, hit me with such force, pushed into car in front, creased my roof, buckled the floor, and snapped the drivers door hinge Ironically I’m good, bit of whiplash, car front and back both sustained injuries from their airbags going off, It’s not rebuildable this time,
  3. It has a small translucent rubber on the end, wouldn’t take much to make it oe
  4. Nice billet boot popper turned up today, From Autobahn autoworx (Only took 3 days)
  5. I had to pull over and get this one !

  8. 535822761. Can’t find it on Classic parts, a lot of people are using 1K8 827 761D a vw boot popper , adjustable too
  9. I did get a new “popper” at the beginning of the year from classic parts (Germany) wasn’t cheap
  10. This forum is too important to lose, I do come on everyday, Merry Yuletide to all
  11. Got my seats in, started to rain, so I’ll get some better pics another day ! Nice and toasty driving to work this morning, I had to check they worked ok !
  12. I knew it was close [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3] They did my engine conversion 160k ago
  13. Good to hear from you BristolBaron, I always thought you would still have a Corrado [emoji3]
  14. TSR are in Bristol, they certainly know their way around Corrado’s,
  15. I got them from Germany years ago, it does sound plausible that they could have come from a convertible! I saw some plastic chrome trims on eBay, but never could find wher3 they came from, that’s why I had some chromed
  16. Pull handles are the hard to find metal ones, had the trims “plastic chromed”, and finished off with covering the handles in leather, The “chromer” operated two miles from me, sadly he shut up shop and moved away .
  17. A little bling,if you look closely, you can see my chrome seat belt anchors Got bored, and turned these-in my lathe,
  18. I bought this many moons ago, when vw did Corrado parts, kept it in my loft until it was time again to do the matrix This went in last winter, and today, I put a new heater fan in,mainly because of Heritage’s 20%off Black Friday deal, Does seem to spin faster, only a 10 minute job
  19. All new sponges for the passenger seat, dropped the seat and foam in Saturday morning, the drivers seat is about 50% done,it was surprising how much the old foams had deteriorated,
  20. I did the solid column years ago, it does make it feel a lot more positive, The cowls are getting hard to find, early and late “bottoms” are the same, just different part numbers, tops are different due to the hazard light ! Had the car in the body shop last Xmas, new sills, (eBay ones)came galvanised.Fitted really well, rear arches were showing signs of tin worm, so scored a set of second hand arches of eBay, cleaned up like new ! Front wings were not good, couldn’t find a decent set of late wings,so got a set of used “early”wings from a breaker local to me (eBay again) nearly rust free, the metal seems thicker on the earlier wings ! Body shop did a really good job putting it all together, bottom of the car was resprayed ,looks new again, struggling to put pics up at the moment
  21. I must update this more regularly, I did the Polo rear brake upgrade, really easy bolt on, everything fits as it should, and no silly tapered bearings ! ABS was a straight fit, if you do a lot of miles like me, go for it. If anybody is interested, I have all the part numbers, sorry only got them for a four stud car P.S. now on 297k, drivers seat out being re-trimmed, so slumming it on an old fabric seat
