  1. If you can't find a good second hand one,(new is n/a) a few of us have used this company http://www.pastparts.co.uk/ A good service, and quick
  2. A lot of us have been using these http://www.pastparts.co.uk/ And getting our cylinders reconditioned.(Not available new for years)

  6. Right,I just took my handle out, undo the screw, push handle forward, the rear should pull out,you may have to "open" the door handle to move the mechanism slightly. Once the rear is out,the front comes out easy. Good luck
  7. It wiggles carefully out of the hole ! After unplugging it at the bottom, taking note of how the wires run for when you put it back !
  8. You beat me to it Checked Vagcat, fits early Golfs, and Audis
  9. I'm sure it's the Mk1, Have got a pic somewhere, I've got a spare at home,I'll get the part number later if you need it (Got mine of eBay)
  10. If you take out the centre consul you have access to the hot and cold flap, take the drivers shelf out,and you can just about get to the feet/window flap,it sounds like the heater box needs attention,
  11. When your pour water into the sunroof drains, can you see it running out ? I have an old long cable(like a bike brake cable) if you open up the roof, the front drains are visible, the rear ones are a little harder to find.Just rod the the cable down the drains. When done,I have a large syringe with a tube on it,fill with water and force it down the drains. This will tell you if drains are working ok,the rear drains come out behind the bumper on the sides. Its easy to see the water running out.
  12. They look like a late model in the pictures,(no screw hole)
  13. It comes off easy with a small three leg puller,
  14. Just checked,2 1/2hr trip for me ! What I did was get a second hand spoiler mech.(about £25) rebuild that, then just swapped them over ! Door handles are fairly easy to do,but you need a vice !
  15. Definitely door card off, first one takes about 45 minutes, next one about twenty ! I'm sure Dave can do them quicker then me
  16. Sounds like you need Dave16v door handle kit ! Common problem, easy fix
  17. I haven't updated for a while, just the normal Corrado maintenance ! Had a slight leak on the sunroof,I've got a long cable I use for this,I rodded the front sunroof drains from the sunroof to the front wings, these are easy to see and do.The rear ones,I find it easier to drop the bumper off, four 17mm bolts and the bumper just pulls off ! The drains are to the side near the wheel arch(sorry no pics,it was drizzling with rain) then it's just a matter of "rodding" the drains to the sunroof opening.Checked all drains were working ok with a large syringe I use, just squirt water in all four corners, and water can be seen running out. Forecast for the week is getting colder,so greased all locks, and treated all the aperture rubbers to this I've used this for years,it stops the doors/boot from freezing shut. Jacked the rear up,and took a slight bit of slack out of the rear wheel bearings. They were new about 3months ago,so just settling in ! Basically a typical weekend maintenance for a daily run Corrado, lol Sorry for lack of pics, but trying to get done between showers ! Milage just over 216k
  18. This might help,I wrote it about 18 months ago http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=88371
