I'm glas it arrived down ok and Its a piecs of piss to fit. 1- pop the front cover/horn off the wheel you have in your car. 2 - undo the spade connection from the horn. 3- unbolt the large bolt in the middle. 4 - using the same bolt, bolt the boss in 5 - use the 6 hex screws to bolt the wheel to the boss. 6 - push the speade connector onto the horn push and use the 3 screws to bolt the cover/horn push to the wheel.these 3 need to be screwed from the back :censored: easy peasy

Not all today but over last week. - fitted 15mm spacers all round a while back and the 2 rears wouldnt sit flush and the wheel looked buckeld so have ground down the hubs a bit and now they sit perfect:-) Its good to have 4 wheels that all point the same way. - stripped wing mirror,handle and side repeater off, painted side of car and put back together. looks much better as someone had keyed the car front to back but need to get properly flatted back and polished up. - swapped my momo wheel out for an original

it does help to give lots of info.....if only to avoid the funnies lol dragon green & cream leather match the storm but without badges [1 on rear & 1 by the gear stick trim] & if the speedlines were original then i doubt it is, storms came with the solitudes i think UK spec rado VR6's were 2.9 ABV but the US used the 2.8 AAA lump....i believe :) even if it aint a storm why worry :clap: there is no technical specification difference.....just badges really incoming on the ever lasting storm debate ha ha ha If that bothered get the wheels right (as above Solitudes I think) and then buy 2 badges for pennies and you pretty much have a Storm anyway... I wouldnt waste my time....by adding the badges your making it heavier....and hence slower :norty:

Could also check the wiring for the coolent sensor. Mines kept saying dodgy sensor and turned out to be dodgy earths. I believe the wiring can start to get brittle and break with old age which can cause problems. This probably wont help with stalling but maybe help with starting Honestly tho it could be any one of a million things :(

having a think about removing the handle, Cant be as simple as one screw shirley?? will it not be attached to the latch mechanism etc??

Hi Folks, Some scrote keyed my car a while back and I am getting it painted tomorrow but to save a bit of money I am going to do some of the prep myself. Can somebody post a quick guide to removing the wing mirror and the door handle?? Thanks

I have a 1994 VR6 with the purple fleck/black bolsters interior. The drivers seat bolsters are starting to wear through and I'd like to replace them. Does anybody know anywhere you can buy matching material?? Cheers Richi

Defo not buckled...when I put the wheel straight onto the hub they sit fine so defo something to do with the spacers. I have swapped front to back spacers and the fronts still look fine and the rear still looks buckled. Think it must be problem with the spacer not sitting correctly on the rear hubs but cant see how :shrug:

Cant access ebay as I'm at work but can see its a set of focals. So you'd go with the good brand. I guess what I'm trying to ask is. the £100 Focal/Hertz/diamond speakers are gonna be basic compared to the rest of there range. whereas £100 Pioneer/Alpine/JBL speakers are gonna a bit higher up in there range. So is the basic good brand speakers a better buy than the good basic brand speakers......if you know what I mean :shrug:

say you have a budget of £100 for speakers?? Something to replace the standard 5.25 components in the VR6 would you look to buy lower down the range of a good brand or higher up the range of a lesser brand??

100 brucey bonus points to you....stripped out the heater controls last night and something isnt quite right, the hot/cold one will only adjust it to cold,it will turn towards hot but doesnt actually move the arm on the inside. Have adjusted the arm manually and now i have hot air :clap:

Not sure its the adjusters, everything worked perfect until i changed the temp sensor and dropped all the coolent. they havent blown hot since i refilled it/ can i check the bypass valve myself??

Hi folks, I have a thread running just now where i have a problem with my heaters not blowing hot now i have changed the coolent. Have had lots of feedback and advice but I'm a mechanical idiot. Was wondering if these anybody about Glasgow/Lanarkshire who has experience with VR6's that could cast there eye over my car for me?? :notworthy:

Cheers guys, Had a go at this last night but still the same. Still icy cold air, actually seems colder than when i have it set to cold :lol: Dunno if i ran it up to proper temp tho?? you say run it until the stat opens, do you mean until the fans kick in?? are the 2 pipes that run into/out of the matrix located in the middle, to the back of the bay, if you are standing in front of the engine?? One has a silver heat sleeve on mines. if so these are both hot when the car is running so could my problem be something else?? I HATE CARS :help:

Have used the search and think I may well have an airlock. Have tried running it with the cap off until up to temp but hasnt made any difference. I am cosidering draining all the coolent and refilling but when you refill, do you refill with the engine running?? If anybody wants to post up a quick dumb dumb's guide I'd be over the moon :nuts:

How do you get rid of an airlock?? I think there is an airlock in mines and have ran it with the cap off but made no difference

I recently changed the blue temp sensor on my VR6 recently. Was the first time I'd done it and being an amateur I dropped all the coolent. So I changed the sensor and refilled the coolent but now the interior blowers wont blow hot. What have I done guys???

Think so......it also has tabs on the bottom. So is it......place the bottom tabs in....then kinda bend the grill so the top tabs click in??? Cheers

The grill on my car at the moment is held on with cable ties because the tabs etc are broken. Used the search and it brought up loads of threads about aftermarket grills but could somebody give me a quick guide on how to change the standard item because I dont want to start and break the tabs on my new one. does it just clip in or does it need to be screwed??
