  1. I've driven a lot of different ones at work (when someone's crashed the defender). The Hilux is good, we had one called an INVINCIBLE which was all chromed and had tinted windows 8) Also liked the Navara, think it was about 1999. 2.5 TD and really fun to drive. Used to get mad wheel spins in 2WD  We had that for a few years and didn't give us much trouble. Drove a very new Mitsi L200 recently but only for a day so not sure about reliability
  2. Love it- this proves that bodykits CAN look good on a rado if it's done tastefully! I guess it's still a matter of opinion but I love it
  3. Saw a Moonlight Blue rado (debadged so dunno what type) in the carpark next to Wildwood centre in Kent. Had an oval scorpion exhaust, eyebrow spoiler and some bling wheels. Saw a Jag XJ220C in a services on the way home! Attracted a small crowd within minutes of parking. Didn't know there were any 'C' ones on the road as they were special race versions right? Had it written on 'XJ220C' on side skirts. Totally awesome :notworthy:
  4. My jetex is on order at the moment- recomended by a lot of people and relatively cheap, but yes there is a wait. Crazydave told me there's a backlog at the moment cos the Swedes shut everyhting down for the whole of July  Like the look of that Hartman though, that tailpipe shape is the one thing I'll miss about the Scorpion.
  5. Saw a black rado going through Harlescott in Shrewsbury on Thurs, I beeped and waved from a silver Corrolla and got a confused look...
  6. I got a 5lt bottle from a VW dealer in Shrewsbury, apparently most dealers only sell the rip off 1.5ltr option!
  7. Someone else will have to help you re the gasket, but the temps don't sound massive for a G60- they are often that high. An oil cooler is a great mod and brings them down significantly, pretty cheap too. G-werks can get you a Mocal.
  8. She's lucky, bags are easier to hide than Rados
  9. Me neither they seem pretty rare! Can't say i envy you thinking how much one G60 drains my bank account :(
  10. It's a long story but I'll update my members thread eventually! Ye Dave told me to bed them in for a while and not give them too much stick yet
  11. Haha my mate sent me this last night, so well edited. Check out the other Swede Mason videos, especially Schofield on crack-
  12. Ye, thanks, I did get them fitted. Seem fine so far but won't get tested hard with my car running like this :(
  13. Interesting engine bay, you might want a heatshield round that cone filter? I've heard they can get heat soaked quite easily without. Had any issues with the ISV re-route? I've heard mixed things about them. Got one with my FMIC but never fitted it
  14. Had my G60 at DG Autotech this week and can't reccommend them enough! Friendly, helpful and good prices. Kept me updated and strived to sort all the problems out. Rather harrowing to find out how much attention it needs in certain places  mostly down to my incompetence... But glad I know all the same! Unfortunately looks like I'll be seeing a lot of them over the next few months :( They would be well worth travelling for, I'm lucky they're local(ish) to me.
  15. I've got a Scorpion exhaust. Looks the best in my opinion as it fits the cut out in the bumper perfectly. That's about it as far as positives... It doesn't fit well and is far too loud...
  16. Red C in Shrewsbury, near Morrisons, possibly the VRT (at least the badge says so) I've seen a few times in town. Got a wave.
  17. Oh my god! Someone who knows how to look after Corrados in Kidderminster! I can't believe I've only just seen the post! I need a bit of troubleshooting on my G60- possibly the timing, will ring you during the week. Or talk to anyone coming to the meet next Sat :)
  18. Green VR in Kidde today on the ringroad, the folks in it were waving like mad before I was even near! Lots of waving and beeping ensued until I turned off into Sainsburys!
  19. Nice low red VR on the A49 near Hereford (I think) got a flash
  20. Where sells these? I need this drivable by tomorrow! Can't find them on screwfix site
  21. So I got my charger back from G-werks, along with a new braided oil line. When I took the end off at the engine, it wouldn't tighten up again. It was just spinning in the hole. When I unscrewed it I found it had de-threaded the block. I can't believe it as I didn't even tighten it that much! What the hell do I do!?!? There must be a way of sealing this up or re-threading it? when I started the engine it p***ed oil everywhere so it's undrivable... :bad-words:
  22. Hi Darren, thanks for the reply. Don't worry about fast delivery now as I will be away from tomorrow- I'm getting train to Cardiff and borrowing my gf's car, so no big problem. It may even work out cheaper now fuel is over £1 per l again! Anytime next week would be OK- remember the return name/address isn't mine, as the car is at my mates place in Shrewsbury. I've told her to expect it during the week and she will pick it up from the depot if she misses it. I understand these things happen and it was out of your hands. It was just a grumbly post about me not being able to use my car, I didn't expect it to end up in the suppliers forum with a reply from 2 guys from G-werks! Anyway, thanks again for sorting it, Matt
  23. Matt, First of all let me sincerely apologise for not calling you back this evening. I got caught up with a job at work and completely forgot and by the time I remembered I was on my way home and didnt have your number. I managed to finally get some sort of response from the courier. We sent out 2 parcels that day including another charger for another customer and neither have been delivered. It seems its been a mix up between our depot and local driver. The local driver was sacked in the middle of this and I believe this has caused some sort of issue with the sorting at the depot. Long story short both boxes are being returned to us tomorrow for inspection to make sure they are not damaged etc and as long as everything is OK we shall ship them both out again straight away. Once we are happy the boxes are OK to leave I will give you a call with the tracking number so you know exactly where the parcel is. Once again, sorry for not getting back to you. Hopefully this will all be sorted tomorrow. Rob It's OK, I know how easy it is to forget when you're trying to juggle a load of stuff! Sounds like a total balls up by the courier, I hope you pass on some :bad-words: from me! Oh well, I'm relieved it's not lost anyway! Cheers for the reply By the way, I did put this in 'General car chat' originally, as I didn't want it to seem like I was moaning about G-Werks, you guys have always been helpful when I've rung (and the day you worked on my C from 8am-7pm cos of all the rounded off nuts  ) I think it got moved?
  24. Ye I've rung them everyday but not getting much out of them.. To be fair I don't think they are getting much out of the courier but I'd like to be kept informed. they did promise to ring me back tonight but it's 5.30 now and still nothing. I think it was Parcel Force but can't be sure. I've had bad experience with them before but not usually so costly or important as this :bad-words:
