It seemed that the driver of the GT had not got used to the clutch on his new purchase. I just had to follow him for a while and the route he took included lots of T lights, each time he took ages to let the clutch out, but then it went like the clappers. blap blap blap, cant describe the noise. Got a video on my phone too, just cant download it at the mo.

Driving around Southampton last friday and this pulled out in front of me........what a fantastic noise they make, very F1 sounding. Also looks fantastic in the flesh, didnt think much to them in the magizine photos.

i'm thinking the other way round at the moment, code the plate surround. But we shall see. Smooth is the plan to replicate my old g60. Note the same lights.

My all red rear lights have finally arrived back home from Spain (thanks Nigel) see attached pic, just need to get some green bulbs to hopefully amber up the colour when they flash.

Spoke to Vince yesterday, it seems that think automotive havent a clue when it comes to the VR6 Corrado, he has supplied me with the missing bits (see attached). Now going to send the pipes and adaptor bar back to thinkauto and get them to supply me with 5M of tubing and the end adapters. Pain in the ar5e. Once I get chance to do the job i'll post a how too with pics.

I'm sure your not SoundsAlarming (sorry to offend) Installation manual by post would be great, I'm pm you the address, many thanks. The alarm was installed in sept 02, so not to old really, think its worth going through with a diagram and taking out all the scot locks (pieces of cr4p).

thanks again Jim, no mention in the user instructions I have about Valet Mode (I wonder if my alarm is a slightly different model to yours), anyway I tried what you suggested to get it into valet mode but no beeps. I think there must be a break in the ignition on wire to the alarm somewhere, as you can arm the system with the ingnition on too, all alarms I have had before havent allowed that. Bloody italian electronics!!!

valet mode?? maybe its in valet mode, how do you get it into and out of valet mode??

I have the manual thanks Jim. Does yours do full closure? And I guess your LED stays off when the engine is running? I'll may give disconnecting the battery a go. Thanks.

Hi All Mt VR is fitted with a Cat 1 Cobra 7928 (as per the pic). Its playing up in the following areas. 1. Does not fully closure. 2. Immobilisation does not seem to be working. 3. LED flashes while engine is running. Had a quick look at the woring today and its a typical alarm fitters mess (I really dont know how they get away with it!) but I only have the user instructions. Does anyone have the installation instructions for this alarm, or know where I maybe able to get it from. I can then trace all the wires and hopefully find the reasons for the malfunctions.

just had a good look at all the pics and the are using a new cover plate, I had assumed that the original is used with the Mocal kit.. Not sure where to go from here for more info. Hopefully someone will ba at stealth tomorrow with a VR with kit fitted, will also ask Vince.
