The zip tie goes around the bottom headlamp support, the base just sits down in front of the rad support.

Hi All, Just driving though my little home town of Verwood (near Bournemouth) and passed 2 Corrado's, not a common sight here. The first was a Storm driven by a pensioner with his blue rinse in the passenger, Green with a 5 figure personal plate. The next was a F plate Black LHD G60 on phat Borbets (anyone here??). I know we have a few members in Bournemouth including...... Me James Renshaw (Purple G60 on Porker rims) John Munyard (aka Corozin and Chairman of CCGB, Midnight Blue VR on Kahns) Woody (Blue G60) James20vtBournemouth (Blue 20VT) Daz King (Not on this forum, Blue Storm on BBS RK's) But who else is lurking about these parts????

Does anyone know if there is a UK importer of RH Alurad wheels??

Hi All, I'm still waiting for my new wheels to come in, unfortunatly my front tryes are well past there sale by date, so bad in fact i've been running the space saver for the last couple of days. I dont want to put my new tyres on my old rims so was wondering if anyone in the Dorset / Hants area would have a spare pair of 5 stud rims hanging about that they would be willing to let me borrow for a couple of weeks???

I towed a friends MK2 GTI behind my old shitron Xantia from Bournemouth to Southampton, via the M27 and M271. Didnt realise it was not allowed! We used one of those solid bars, was very good. Hate to admit it but we reached 80 odd on the A31, its a very boring road if going slow!! As long as the towed car does most of the braking the bars are very safe.

Thats an odd combination of digital milometer and 55 litre tank, I though the digital speedo and 70 litre tank arrived at the same time...... i'm a sad bastard!

Whats the fastest you have ever been in your Corrado?
Andy Brookes replied to surfer.vr6's topic in General Car Chat
6700 if I remember correctly mate, felt like a different car after it had the stage 4, chip and pulley. On the same trip I had it showing 240 on a french motorway but the camera was out of reach! -

230 kph on a German Autobarn, check out the oil temp! Ouch! G60 GO was standard then, the weekend after it got Jabbered. -

these allen headed bolts alway get dirt in them, I always have a dig around with a sharp object first to clear out any rubbish, you then get full engagement with the allen key and are less likely to round them off.

Cold Air Induction, the filter is relocated to the inner arch as per the pic above. See my pic for a view from above.

Thinking about this more, I had a solinold on my old Sirocco Storm, I wired this through a couple of relays so that it could only be opened with the ignition off. I also had a spare output on my Clifford alarm that opened the boot with the second button on the key fob.

just checked and you right, 12v & 6V there. Not sure how the switch is wired as I havent got the bentley manual installed on my pc at the mo. If this is the way you want to go, I would look at the wiring to the switch and modify that that to give you a 12v pos when you press the stalk in. You could then wire this as positive with ignition on or at all times. As Henny says its not so difficult to run wires, I use an electritions pull through cable to pull wires through. Best described as a piece of fairly stiff nylon approx 3mm diameter with a ring in one end. Poke this cable up the opposite way you want the cable to run, then tie the wire you want to pull though to the ring and pull away. Makes it dead easy.
-
the 12v will be to allow the wiper to park after you have let go of the switch.... I supprised the other positive is 6V, you sure that not a fault??? I'll pop out to mine now and check for you.

The Milltek I have has is an early one, refitted it last night with some new VW clamps as the orginal clamps that came with the exhaust had given up and let the centre box twist round and rattle on the axle. The fit of the early millteks is not spot on, but I believe (JMR should be able to confirm) the fit of any new milltek is spot on. I have used a magnex on a G60, the fit was spot on, but the centre box split within 6 months, replaced on warranty, now still going strong 3 years later of Mike Edwards VR. If I was in the market for another I think I would go for the Milltek, but its a very close run thing. Buts lets face it you can't beat JMR's price for the Milltek Cheers Andy
