Hi, Does anyone on here have advice on the proper place to fit an oil pressure sender on a G60? I have fitted mine on the side of the head, where the OEM low-pressure switch and charger feed is. Does anyone know what the psi should be for an engine thats reached operating temp? My gauge shows all different pressures in relation to RPM when oil is cold but, as soon as it gets hot (80 - 100c) it doesn’t move much at all (stays 10 - 15 psi). Thanks

law262 replied to philie's topic in Engine Bay
Check that the lambda is intact, the movement from the engine may have broken the connection. -
its the device that is connected to the boost pipe going to the throtle body. measure the 2 outer pins with an ohmeter. to adjust: if there is a blue cap remove this and turn untill you get 500ohms. how does that work?
-
what resistance is your co pot set to? set it to 500 and retry.
-
mimjed, could you share what size the custom forge IC ur running and if it have both inlet and outlet on the battery side? cheers

Mine has this problem, i believe its ISV/ECU related. My work around is to switch the headlights on dipped before it starts. This seems to open the ISV up so it allows more air to pass into the manifold. or maybe my ISV just needs adjusting.

I wouldn't use anything other than a paper Mann or VAG filter in the standard air box!

Have you tried filling the system up from the top of the rad and the block up from the top hose?
-
I think that has somehting to do with the powersteering kickin in and isv tring to compensate for the extra load, how does it idle and does it keep a stable rpm when u declutch and brake?

Its a Corrado G60. I have replaced ECU and FPR vac hoses with new VAG hose and used clips on the ends.
