where is a good place to by all the bits needed?wishbones etc i tried GFS today and i was told all of the bits i wanted were for the G60 model. i have a VR6. or are they the same for each model? :?

i got a quote from performancealloys.com for the wheels. £1100 16X7 (black)including Toyo tyres is that good or is it worth looking around a bit more? any recommended places to shop?

Im now in the market for some new 16" rims and iv seen some i like. as everyone has different opinions i was wondering what do you think? they are MO Competition 6 Spoke. i have a black VR6 so i am debating whether to get black or white alloys? also they come in different sizes: from 16x5.5, 16x6 etc up to 16x8. which would offer the best ride? from looking through different threads i think they have good 4 pot clearance so that fits in with my plans for big brembo brakes :D any feedback negative or positive is welcome

your right KipVR they are 15" wheels it looks like a new set of alloys are coming up then :lol: will 308mm brakes fit any 16" wheel. im prob gonna stick with the 5 spoke style

im sure the alloys are 16". unless im measuring them wrong. iv went from outer lip to outer lip, is that correct? :confused4: if they are 16" will 308mm disks fit behind them?

im going to be lowering my VR6 over christmas. where are the best places to get all the bits mentioned earlier, wishbones, track rod ends etc. is it best to go for original parts or is there uprated stuff you can get?

sorry to hijack your thread. i also want to upgrade the brakes on my VR6. im running on the standard 16 speedline alloys. does anybody know what is the biggest set of breaks you can get in them. if you could reccomend a couple of upgrade sets too that would be greatly appreciated thanks

after reading this thread i fancy getting the BMC CDA induction kit but i cant find one specifically for the corrado.only golf, lupo, passat, polo and vento. which one fits a VR6?

im no expert but i ordered some new coilovers today and i was told that i could possibly need spacers for the wheels to clear the coilovers. check your instructions. if the new springs are bigger than your standard ones then spacers are probably required

i have just ordered my KW V3's. all i need now is to patiently wait until they arrive

i wouldnt buy it even if the price wasnt so ridiculously high but i think he has made a good job of it. bigger wheels and brakes and it would look like a pretty cool car

i agree with -Neil-. iv got a fiat which im running around in at the moment and all the dents on the doors are above where the bump strips are on the corrado are anyway. as the car is so low i dont think the bumpstrips help that much. just park in plenty of space and walk a little further

what would anybody recommend to remove the sticky residue left behind after i took off the bump strips? id prefer to use something that has worked for you guys rater than mess up the paint

iv looked there. it says use a Passat Control Panel 1991/H Era is that the only model that share the same controls?

i have looked around the archives and cant seem to find an answer so im asking the question now: the heater controls on my 94 corrado vr6 are not working, and its been hard trying to find a replacment. the question is: what other model VW's share the same controls which i could fit in the corrado? help please its getting to cold to drive with the windows open :(

thanks for the feedback at that price i think the 'AST 3 ways' are a little ott! thats nearly the price i paid for my corrado :lol: i wish i was that rich one other question: the suspension specs say they lower 45mm - 85mm. does that mean that 45mm is the minimum drop and 85 the max?

i have read through this thread a couple of times now and need some advice. im looking at getting a set of coilovers for my VR6 but am not to sure which brand to go for. price isnt to much of a problem. the KW variant 2 or 3's seem to be standing out to me at the minute. im not going to be dropping it a lot, 30mm at a max can someone point me in the right direction please
