As you're looking for a price I'll say £1000 as is, around £2000 with an MOT. It's going to need 4 tyres and attention to brakes etc after sitting around for all that time, the fuel will be stale and that's just the start of all the expenditure too.

Do you have a part number? Have you tried Audi dealers? I think Audi coupe / cabs had similar covers so maybe classic audi specialists (Quattro / coupe etc) may be able to get them? Heating black plastics with a hot air / paint stripper gun restores there colour, warm, not melt

https://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/en/volkswagen You may be able to get relays from Kufatec even though they no longer list Corrado?
-
Is the engine earth secure and clean?

Wind the rear pistons out until there's 1mm of clearance and try the pedal again, it sounds like the rears aren't self adjusting?

MK4 carriers fitted to a corrado hub Carrier, pads and calliper, the disks were bought via the classifieds here as MK3 VR6 288s

Do the rear calliper hand brake levers return to there stops? (cables too tight maybe? What is the pedal like with the handbrake on?

They're quite light so postage will be less than the quoted £10. Will PM you paypal details. Can anyone please confirm MK4 288s with MK3 288mm disks are the correct fitment for Corrado please?

PM on its way

I have 2 pairs of MK4 front 288mm callipers and carriers in used / rusty condition but fully working when removed from my own cars £25 per pair (you'll get more than this for your 280s!) sold as spares or repairs - you decide if they need reconditioning / use them on an exchange basis / use as is. One pair of mk4 rears, one of the outer dust seals has ripped, stainless piston is spotless, removed from one of my own cars £20 sold as spares or repairs. Postage is £10 per pair - discount on postage if you buy front and rears together. Can Whatsapp multiple pics, will upload a few pics here tomorrow. Please reply in the thread in the first instance.

If they are Chinese copies they fade really quickly, i bought mk4 covers and they lasted 12 months before looking worse than the ones they replaced

The guide says saturate the filter with oil, not a good idea as excess oil will contaminate the MAF, a "light oiling" is usually recommended in the instructions?
-
I've cleaned a panel filter with a hose pipe, just pinched the end of the pipe together with my fingers (no pressure needed) and back washed it (washed the crud out in the direction it came in), then dropped the filter onto old news paper to expel the last of the dead fly mulch. The filter washes are just water based anyway aren't they? The Jetex filter came up as new and was sold via ebay

People expect to see a wanted ad in the wanted section, that's where they'll look if they are looking to sell a car Jim has had a very stressful week, back off and be nice

Its the temperature sensor housing. It will have a rubber O'ring in the end that has perished / broken. The sensors themselves also have rubber O'rings too. Check the housing for cracks and damage while its off.

A heat gun can often restore black plastic to its former glory, warm it, not melt it.

I start grinding the valves in with the sucker post in an electric drill, with variable speed, 13mm chuck, using a slow speed and then finish by hand.

Your link on FB worked for me, the one here is dead, both yours and mine. Strange.........

I wonder if he's had the same tappet jacking issue that you had?
