I've bought 3 cars off here, I've travelled to Somerset and Leeds to collect parts in person as well as received smaller items via post and couriers and not had a problem because I've used trusted long term sellers. I have had problems with ebay sellers and always respond in a polite manner before raising a claim with ebay if the matter is not sorted by messaging the seller. I'm 100% certain Tom would have sorted any problems without the need for the abuse from the get go from you.

Hi Jimmy, I think you're mistaken, I've not done a cup holder mod to my cars. There was someone who produced some on this forum 3 or 4 years ago to replace the rear ashtray, maybe you should post a wanted advert for one of those? ATB

I'd search ebay or a blanking plate or EGR delete for the VR6 (maybe try dieselgeek?), being early it should be easily defeated, many older UK cars (non corrados) have been fitted with a piece of coke can between a gasket face to simply block off the flow of exhaust gasses leaving the valve in place to fool the ecu that its working

UK VRs don't have an EGR valve, 90+% here are UK based so wont know the answer to your question.
