Looks the same as a C? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-2-8-VR6-Mk3-Auxiliary-Water-Pump-1-8T-251-965-561B-/221369962529?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item338aad9021 Not mine

If the part number on the box (1 305 354 933) is correct and they actually fit (no mention of Corrado, just Saab and Volvo) I've found them for $18. Presumably they are left and right handed so have different part numbers?
-
No idea TBH, but those American custom car programs use steam when the fit the covers, easy does it if you decide to try it Found this too

I bet there's one or two people who'd buy a bumper cut off you for a towing eye or exhaust cut out delete. Bumper iron if in good condition would be worth saving, they rot for fun

I hope you reported it to the police to create a crime statistic?

You may find some are tinted, others clear. I'd have walked over to the car and pretended to get something out of it long before they smashed the window, I'd have even talked to them asking them if they liked it or have they seen one before. ie something non confrontational Little *******s

Plasma cutter? I never took the wheels of and it could be done with the interior still inside. My shell has all sorts of crap thrown inside and a couple of inches of water too I won't be doing it again, all safely tucked away in the garage loft - you never know when you'll need them :)

I've been doing a few shell cuts and having never done any before I didn't really know how to go about it. I removed the rear panel first which probably helps with the arches TBH This is my second attempt having already done the drivers side for a practice I took pics to help anyone in a similar position I found it easiest to sacrifice the whole quarter to allow easier access to the inner skin using the larger angle grinder Once you've removed the section above there's just enough room to cut 80% of the inner arch from outside of the car with the small grinder (the chisel is just there to exaggerate the cut to show it more clearly The cuts at the bottom of each arch are cut from underneath and inside the arch - the space saver gives a little more room, you may need to remove the wheel totally depending where your vertical cuts end at the bottom of the arch You'll need both 9 and 4.5 inch angle grinders, a hammer and chisel to chop where the cuts don't quite meet and gloves!

Ive got a standard front cover in grey you can have for £20 collected? And a rear in green for similar if you want to smooth the rear too?

Get them to do a sniff test to prove combustion gasses are present in the coolant system

You could also try Meth (who does the calendars) as I'm sure a pic was submitted for the calendar a few years ago? I had a pic of it on my desktop for a while too -

Anyone cutting up a shell? Need part of inner wing and battery tray
Dox replied to Richarddarrenb's topic in Wanted
The battery tray is NSF is it not? I might be able to help next week (Tuesday onwards) if you can put masking tape on your car to outline exactly what you need? -
http://www.haymarket.com/motorsport_news/motorsport_news_magazine/default.aspx There used to be several adverts in this weekly newspaper for ex racing car bits, worth a look?

http://www.jdengineering.nl/ I've looked on ebay in France / Germany / Belgium without success. The car pictured was built nearly 20 years ago when DTM was a big thing, they may not be available any more.

A good opportunity for a syncro conversion? The problem with a shell swap is that it will need some repair and paint and you wont want to bolt on all that rusty running gear with aging bushes and sundries etc Before too long the bill will reach 5 figures........ A difficult decision to be sure :) Good luck with what ever you decide to do :)

Drain the coolant into a clean bowl for re use and flush the rad top to bottom and bottom to top with a hose pipe. Id do the same to the engine once its cooled down
