1995 VW Corrado VR6 Auto One Owner 41,871 miles from new - Anglia Car Auctions
-
The current wheels suit the car imo
-
VW Heritage sell light covers, a bit ugly imo but necessary on a daily
-
Looks a good car, if you don't know all front lights are only available used and are expensive/ rare, if you daily it you may want to use some protection on them.

Vgi vac reservoir can be deleted and use the servo instead
-
The brake servo is a huge vac reservoir, you could tee into that after the non return. It's not really good etiquete to use the braking system for anything other than brakes hence the plastic reservoir

Badly fitted wings, wonky headlights, rusty tailgate and structural welding, I'd run a mile! Our local European valeters do a far better job than they have of that, £6 for a wash only. There's a 6 cylinder diesel estate where I live (vented front wing) and I've always liked it, same colour as the above. My FiL had an E Class saloon as well as a 190E and it's an itch I'd like to scratch sometime. -
Have a look at door builds on youtube, try and fix the speaker to the door to seal the out of phase noise from the rear of the speaker cancelling what you want to hear out of the front. Fixing a speaker to the door card doesn't do this, you'll also use the volume inside the door to enhance bass. Look after your hearing, at 55 I now have a buzzing in my right ear, female voices on satnav etc drive me mad, getting rid of roadnoise etc is a really good idea over turning up the volume!

Vw Mk2 Mk3 Corrado Vr6 Schrick Inlet manifold | eBay OBD1 it appears?
-
4 wheels, 2 good tyres 3 caps £80 today on FB - sold quickly, ideal for use for storing over winter?
-
It’s often cheaper to buy wheels with caps than caps on there own! beware the unscrupulous asking fortunes for them…..

Point 3, the set up is for engine temp regulation, denying the fans running with a timer is wrong IMO, function should always rule over form (vanity). Imagine climbing a steep hill, throttle burried and temps climbing and the fans waiting 2 - 10 mins before assisting to cool the engine down?
-
Looks nice, it's come a long way

Price up some Ur Quattro spares if you think Rallyes are expensive -
Bulb blown most common, tampered with by previous owner next on the list, VCDS scan should reveal any codes
-
There a thread here with wheel weights listed by owners, I think a Speedline is around 6.5kg?

1991 VW Corrado 1.8 G60 - Anglia Car Auctions £8640
-
I think you need to view everything above the road and below the cars shell as a package to suit the use intended. A track spec set up will soon become a bind on B roads? A 30mm drop, gas dampers, rubber bushes and 17s with soft sidewall tyres will be a different beast from a 60mm+ drop on coilovers, poly bushed with a road legal track tyre on 17s will have you reaching for the dailys keys for a cross country drive?
-
Because the pump runs and pressurises the fuel line?
-
Generally speaking that how prices do increase, someone gets ambitious, an another undercuts a bit and the prices roll up because of it. It happened with the Corrado over the last 5 years, speculators are now stopping enthusiasts owning the cars of their youth.

Crank (position) sensor, cam (position) sensors are used all the time whatever temp, without them the ecu doesn't know where the engine is in order to inject fuel / spark.
