Hi looking a corrado what do i need to look for when buying
Dox replied to corrado199316v's topic in General Car Chat
I'm the opposite, its bodywork condition first for me (unless its a bolt on panel), a non working spoiler / electic window / sunroof / blown matrix or similar is just a haggling point. Interiors can be swapped, as can wheels, both of which can transform a well used car with straight bodywork -
Lower your car they said, it would be fun they said!!!!

Pic2, all I can see is the tramlines in the arch liner caused by water / grit / dirt being flung at it off the tyre at speed, I can't see any actual contact? -

The poor handbrake is probably the pads seized in the carriers - cheap fix to strip, clean and copperslip where the pads touch the carriers and calipers if this is the case. Working rear brakes will generally help the car to stop better with the foot brake too. Buying a car off an enthusiasts site like this is probably the best way to go, you can browse the build threads and see exactly what's been done. Corrado prices are rock bottom, there's no need to buy cheap unknown when there is well looked after cars here -

http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?78405-Another-Halfords-tool-chest-deal-Christmas-day-only-on-their-Industrial-cabinets There will be 10% off again on new years day for reserve and collect. A nice big roll cab and top box for sensible money, I have 2 lesser draper chests that cost me similar combined and the halfords one is better built and will hold twice the amount

Painting the floor light grey is good too

An appropriate sized socket with 2 flats ground on the sides parralel the the square drive so as not to weaken the socket too much held with an adjustable spanner and an allen key. Put masking tape on top of the wing to prevent scratches
-
I'll ave to drop out then, sorry Good luck with the sale :)

Offer 40 posted for the decat? 2nd Dibs on the mirrors too please

The problem with the cheaper cabinets is they're not deep enough, a 17mm spanner and above has to go diagonally when placed in the drawers of the top box and they're shallow too. I have 2 draper rollcabs with top boxes and I find the usable space restricted ---------- Post added at 4:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:58 PM ---------- Halfords rollcab = Size: 680mm (width) x 460mm (depth) x 850mm (height) ----"--- Top box = Size: 660mm (width) x 400mm (depth) x 490mm (height) Clarke rollcab = Overall Dims (LWH) 675x335x770mm, Weight 26.5kg, Max Drawer Load 35kg ----"--- Top box = (LWH) 610x255x380mm, Weight 17.4kg, Max Drawer Load 19kg

Spotted yesterday (19th) White VR6 leaving Crewe and heading for the A500 / M6 at around 14.20, the car really stood out amongst the gloom of winter

On MK2 golfs the 99.9 thing happens when the pipe becomes disconnected from the vaccuum, either from the connection to the manifold or the connection to the back of the clocks snapping off.
