So are you saying a well sorted 12V VRT is a better drive than a well sorted R32 transplant?

Ours is on a tiled concrete floor, its very smooth and quiet, even on spin. The old one used to shake the room! I'd wait for the engineer before any mods are made

LG make a direct drive washing machine where the motor is fixed directly to the drum (no drive belt needed so far less jumping around when the drum rotates), vibration is much reduced. They have perspex covered examples on show in Currys. How old is your current machine? Our previous Hotpoint was nearly 20 years old, replaced with a newer Hotpoint the noise is night and day better.

Bought used and in the condition they're in now, untouched and unused by me. 4 off BBS RX2 16 X 6.5 RS771 (MK4 Golf) wheels in sound condition, no flat spots or kerb marks, a previous owner has stripped the lacquer off the polished rims making the polishing of the rims an easy refurb IMO. The rims have fine scratch marks from coarse sand paper / emery cloth but with a bit of effort would polish up mint. The centres have some blisters as have the barrels, but again these would make an easy DIY refurb with a little effort. Not the usual over priced ebay rubbish I'm looking to get my money back on these so asking £200 OVNO Thanks for looking, collection from near Crewe Cheshire :)

Yep  ---------- Post added at 8:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:51 AM ---------- £12K is cheap for a MK1, some were asking £60K at the NEC in November. I was at a classic auction in Buxton yesterday, a Mini Cooper made £26K plus 12% commision and VAT, a similar aged Rolls struggled to make £5K Prices made will be on their website sometime today http://www.classic-auctions.com/auctions/forthcoming.aspx -

Wouldn't the pistons have to be re-ringed to match the rebored and honed block? Otherwise you'd need shares in an oil company?

Having viewed and bought cars from BCA it should be a decent example, I find their appraisals to be on the pessimistic side. If it was closer I'd go and view it.

Aston DB7 with OZ Saturn+ alloys, looked cheap and wrong, they said so themselves, then Mike had the powder coated shadow chrome silver............ Oil pipes leaking and corroded, replaced including the cooler due to thread damage. Both exhaust manis cracked and replaced. Water ingress, door seals adjusted. New bling front grill fitted. I can't help thinking an XK8 could be bought for less than half the 12.5K 007 jokes worn me down TBH Not on youtube yet -

Buyer beware then He wouldn't be the first seller on ebay to get it wrong. I once saw some 15s advertised as 16s, I asked him to check the diameter and he said they measured 16, I asked for the tyre size, 195 50 15 his reply, so I said they're 15s then, no says he, they measure 16...................................... and they were fitted with 15 inch tyres!!!
