Ditto. But nothing like new plates to spruce up your car a little, for not a lot of dollar!

HIC pissed me off. Was all ready to take them up on the quote that they sent me. It was emailed over and stated it was valid for 14 days. Ring up 4 days after getting the quote and they move the goal posts! Now its an extra 50 quid  If you want hassle free insurance but not a guaranteed value. I still think Elephant are pretty good. Their renewal came in at £380 and I didnt go back to them to see if they would go lower. Plus you can do it all online, including adding mods. Brentacre was also very helpful, just not in the same ballpark on my quote however, over a hundred pounds more. Matt

Sounds a good price - what BHP are you running? I had to guestimate it as not visiting Stealth til end of the month. But similar to you I imagine/hope  Matt

Just thought I would post up in defence slightly of Chris Knott and say that they have just smashed my nearest quote. Offering me guaranteed value, all mods declared. Protected no claims. All for £357.00 Im 34, car garaged, 8 years no claims, 6 points for speeding. Tried all the specialists Brentacre, HIC, Adrian Flux etc So thankyou Chris Knott and 'Dan' for the premium. Matt

Coilovers would be best bet mate. At least that way if you do go too low you can go up again! LOL I couldnt run mine any lower where I live in Peak District ideally need +20 travel not minus 40cm  looks like another set of coilovers, gone through a FK set already :( better choose wisely and get saving[/quote:2ayt0ek8] Has to be KW V1's at circa £600-650 if you want them to last a bit. Not a massive amount more than Koni dampers and H&R springs TBH

They look sweet! May be worth just trying some 195's or 205's on them first before you increase dish size. Look pretty wide as they are! 8)

Hi Dan Trouble with wheels like the R32 ones is that they are generally 18 inch, which is just too big for the rado. 17 inch max really. Matt

Cheers mate just a bit yes. Just thinking about the delocked handle mod rather than buying a new door handle and messing around swapping the barrels. Every cloud and all that  -

Well we are into hour 2 already now but the fault has been isolated at least  There is a dead short in the central locking wire that feeds from the drivers door through the dash to the passenger door. Basically it would be a dash out job to locate it so I have asked him to nulify the shorted wire and just feed a new one through. Hopefully in another hour I will have 100% working central locking and windows! Matt -
