Forgot about the Recaros Im back up to £2k! At the end of the day valvers should make quite good money at the moment really. People want mpg over power, hence wht VR prices are so low.

What a buyer is willing to pay for it... And i'm trying to establish that figure, by asking a group of people that have an interest in the market? :| I'm really starting to wonder why the hell I bother. Yeah why you bothering LOL  I would like to revise my previous valuation to £1.8 to £2k
-
If it is truly mint, M or N reg then I guess £2-2.5k would be fair?
-
Nice one Vick! Im not 100% about that on my blue car mind, will have to do a bit of photo shopping I think

You are making it sound too easy, stop it! LOL  sorry! It's not easy you are right, the engine swap part is easy, it's the wiring and setting up that will be hard and take the time, mine's not running yet so can't really comment! Yeah if you fire it up and its 100% from the off I will be amazed! BUT I really hope you dont have many problems setting it up 8)

Its not great if you are simply running 17 inch wheels.....

I changed mine to legal plates. Never got pulled in 8 years but just couldnt be arsed with the constant thought that I might do. Still like the look of pressed plates tho. These are std script with all the legal bumf on them.

After having the same problem with my central locking (for 3 years :cuckoo: ) and spending probably at least 10 weekends and goodness knows how many man hours and £'s on replacement parts. I would STRONGLY suggest getting an auto electrician in to have a look. Cost me £80 in the end for the leccy to come out to my work and find a short in the wiring behind the dash. I never would have found that. Would have been a dash out job to repair it so I got him to isolate the short and just thread a new wire through the dash. Good luck with it all Matt
-
Yep defo sounds like fuse. Same fuse for windows/central locking/reverse lights and heated seats as well i think. Good place to check if you have any shorts are in the door jams. Here you go hopefully you can see the fuses i am talking about. It is the right one if memory serves. Matt

LOADS of info if you use the search. Sounds like you have missed the fuse tho which is above the main bank of fuses above the relays at top of box.

Hey nobody thought my VR6 wasnt a Storm when I had the Storm badge on the back of mine, so I think you will be fine. Always looked too busy at the rear for me as well. Hence why i now just have the Corrado badge (and colour coded at that)

Watch Alfie she gets her tits out more  LOL

Please please please dont let Toad read that  Stick with it mate the ECU relay sounds like it may be a solution! Fingers crossed

Keep the Audi as is just styled a bit for everyday use. Perfect car IMO for everday. Then spend the £6k doing a nice turbo VR6 that you will appreciate taking out at the weekends and wont get boring 8) -
Thinking of selling up :( what would you buy?

Have to disagree with Mic Evo 5's and 6's are no where near stressed at 350bhp the block is bomb proof. Evo 3's will run 280/300 with not a lot of work either and quite happily running std internals. -
