  1. More power doesnt make a better car  This is a golf not a Lambo is 208 tunable to 300 not enough :D
  2. If that includes ARP bolts, gaskets, o-rings, speedometer gear ring, and bearings then that sounds very good. Is that delivered as well? If so that sounds very good! US price is £540 plus VAT and duty so I would be up for that from TSR.
  3. And yes this probably should be in the suppliers forum, sorry :(
  4. Cheers! :D If i had the mighty hammer of Thor then I would of course have used it! Plus I would also fly around the world hitting people on the head with it but thats a whole different ball game....
  5. Right Im getting really fed up not being able to track down why my drivers side electric window keeps blowing the fuse and Im fed up that I cannot find out why my drivers side central locking has packed up. Oh and typically my car has just come back from its respray and now the front indicator doesnt work despite the bulb being fine and the connections looking ok  I also need some speakers fitting and a new headunit puutting in. Can anyone recommend somebody that know's their stuff and Corrado's well and doesnt charge stupid amounts of money. I certainly dont mind paying decent money if the problems are going to be fixed, but not if someone is going to fart about for a week trying to find the problem but ultimately failing  I live in Derbyshire but to be honest I would travel as far south as Cornwall and as far north as Inverness to get these problems sorted! They are making me hate my car and that is not good... Any suggestions anyone? Thanks Matt
  6. Nice one cheers guys! Sure I can sort some coat hangers out to use as pokey sticks
  7. Come on I didnt think it would take this long :D
  8. LOL genius. I would like to see the look on your face however if you were stood in a forest watching the RAC rally and your old car came past :D Jeremy Beadle eat your heart out LOL
  9. Without using a hammer! Sorry proper newbie question this but does it just pull out? Or is it screwed in? Thanks
  10. Only problem I would have with owning one is i couldnt live with the big arch gaps looks wise. However i wouldnt want one without the adaptive suspension. :brickwall:
  11. Oettinger one looks awesome!
  12. I do need a new clutch...... But think that may be overkill for around 215bhp/torque LOL
  13. Sounds like a plan m8 :) As you say if you are hapy with everything don't change it. Wheels make quite a mark depending what you get. Anyway enjoy Matt
  14. STONE CHIPS! You have ruined Jay's car already! :bad-words: Only messin, welcome, look forward to seeing you make your mark on it. :D
  15. Not in a Corrado but in a Golf yes. The 24v engines are IMO too smooth and dont suit the character of the Corrado. Loads of 12v engine transplants available. See the Eurospecsport link above for just one example of many. Certainly not knocking other peoples projects just not my bag. I mean if you dont keep a 'classic' car original to its roots where does it end? You may as well fit a Corrado shell directly on to a Evo chassis or similar :D
  16. cos not everyone is after that - look at me, look at what i've done, aren't i great! scenesters prepare to lick @ss... Too right
  17. Ditto ditto :D Thats why I wasnt really a fan of Jay's C. The reason I like the Corrado is because its a Corrado! If I wanted a S3, R32 etc etc I would have bought one of those. The beauty of C ownership for me is to keep improving the car but always working within the original parameters. Hence why I am mostly certainly keeping the std V6 which in my eyes is what makes the Corrado a great car. Say what you like but no other engine suits the Corrado as much as it does. If you want more power better driveability why not just get a new bored out V6 12v with uprated internals and cams for same price as a conversion. That way no wiring hassle? http://www.eurospecsport.com/products/e ... vr6-2v.htm
  18. Did you have any luck with this in the end? I had another play with mine tonight and Im still clueless :(
  19. Be nice! Keep us posted thanks Matt
  20. Would anyone really want one! :dorky: :camp:
  21. That is inc carriage and fitting kit but not VAT and duty. They are in stock so turnaround would be 7-14 days I imagine. I imagine TSR will be circa £600-£650 for the dif and £100-£120 for the fitting kit but let me know could be interested.
  22. Go for it . I doubt they will be able to match $935 (plus duty/VAT prob) but if they can I will glady buy British!
  23. Ok for three units above price would be $935 with maybe a slight reduction in the carriage charge if shipped to one central address. But I think that is pretty damn good! Anyone interested let me know by the end of the week if possible. Thanks Matt
