Well..... I thought I got an ok price anyway. Coming from the US and price is $970 shipped and includes fitting kit ARP bolts, gaskets, o-rings, speedometer gear ring, and bearings If I could do a bit better on that for 2 or 3 units it would be a bonus :D

TBH I never really liked Jay's Rado much :ignore: Feel like I should go and flog myself or something after saying that LOL

I think I am going for one next week If anybody fancies one let me know and I will see if I can get two or three cheaper than one! Matt

I think it sounds like ISV. Do a search on 'cleaning ISV'

I was thinking of doing this as well. Bought some modeling foam so will attempt to fabricate something when I have the time.

Hi m8 Plenty been discussed on this before. Does it go down smoothly? Wait and see if it goes up and down properly on the move. If not give the whole assembly a clean (again do a search) then if still not working then perhaps new motor (easily checked), control mechanism, or switch. Matt

Audi S3 or SEAT Ibiza Cupra ? Discuss.....
Leonard replied to BigTartanJudge's topic in General Car Chat
If he wanted almost best of both worlds then £6k would get him a Leon Cupra R This is nice but over budget http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... x_mileage= :D -
Lot better pics here http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIAL/c ... 47580.html Looks really good IMO

Audi S3 or SEAT Ibiza Cupra ? Discuss.....
Leonard replied to BigTartanJudge's topic in General Car Chat
S3's are a bit boring and bland to drive:D But they do feel 'special' to be in. As I said if he wants a racer then he doesnt want the S3. -
Lets be honest I think the main reason they are not selling is the recent petrol crisis. I mean who wants to buy a small car with a 3.0L engine! £80 to fill up is just crazy in a car the Corrado's size!!! :cuckoo: And I know that should only effect the VR and some ways the G60, but their prices are only going to knock onto the lower end models. Then there is the issue of practicality, running costs and insurance which in a bouyant economy wouldnt be as much of an issue but when so many are tightening their belt... Mine is staying put now for the foreseable future. I mean it just isn't worth selling something so fun for peanuts.

I thought it was the Leon Cupra R! If it is the Ibiza then as said he would be mad to even contemplate it over the S3  -

Depends what he wants really. S3 is certainly the classier more comfortable ride. Cupra the better drive. I dont really like the 1.8T engine at all so I wont comment on that LOL Personally I would probably go S3 but Im getting on a bit (34). Prefer the image though. Cupra is getting a bit boy racer. But then if he wants a car to thrash everywhere...... -
LOL Tiff is a legend! He's not cocky and he can drive circles around almost anyone. Not feelin the h8 myself

Hey Phil If the LCR Brembo's have gone a funny white colour (not brown) then you can just give them a spray with some laquer and they will go back to shiny red :D If they are actually peeling peeling then carry on as you are and sorry to have bothered you :salute:

Just checking you are still happy with your diff? :)
-
i had a lot of debate over gloss or matt, and whither to do the rear pillars as well, but had seen some already done like that and was not that keen, I love it, it looks good with the spoiler up as well. Now just debating if any black goes on the bonnet! But it think it may stay as is for the moment :) As is i reckon. You can go too far! :D
-
i got the diff, gearbox and clutch for 1500, i could not afford it but had to be bought at that price, its the best thing :) No way! Now that is a bargain
-
If only it didnt cost the same as whole VR6 car LOL
-
Nice spec! Would lurve the quaiffe box!

Had some from VW last week. Look slightly improved from my originals as well. :confused4: Dont seem to have the lip that crumbles quite as prominently all seems a bit thicker somehow?
-
I would say 17 x 7.5 would be your max but Im sure someone with a G60 will be along soon. :D A nice set of 16's would probably be a better better...
