  1. Cheers for the nice comments everyone! Hopefully there will be plenty more by inters next year! Cheers J
  2. Well at least I have proof that I am the first to do a TT dash in a Corrado. Lovely pic of my car and the semi finished dash. See Pg 102 of Decembers PVW. Woohoo. Need to get it all finished for inters now. J
  3. My mate is thinking of breaking his 1.8 16v which is fitted with an LPG conversion. If you are interested I can ask what he would want for it. All you have to do is get it checked once it is finished for it to be OK with the insurance. J
  4. Does anyone have a Silicon reduction pipe for an RSR style VW O.E outlet off the G60 Golf, to make it fit the Corrado. If so can you please let me know, or alternatively does anyone have the dimensions for it. I know you can buy reducing Samco pipes but don't know what size to get. Darren, have you got one?? Cheers J
  5. Quick question, how is the G60 Pulley size measured? Down in the grooves, on top of the grooves? Cheers J (Bit of engine work happening this weekend!)
  6. My advice is fit a TT dash and that tells you that your lights are on and if they are blown!! ;oP J
  7. Your best bet is to saw them down Mike. They don't take too long to do with a decent hacksaw and a file. J
  8. I will be going on the Sunday. Went last year and Sunday seemed the better day. Apparently all the Cult society boys are coming over?
  9. I will be there on the Sunday for Show and Shine, hopefully with a finished interior. I have a wedding to go to on the Saturday ;o( Still Sunday was the better day last year. J

    17" BBS

I am considering selling my 17" BBS RC's. They are absolutely mint with not a single mark on them. They are 7.5x17 et 35 with 4x100 PCD. They are on my G60 at the moment but I fancy something new. I will only sell them if someone offers me decent money for them. The tyres are all v.good, infact the rears are brand new. Make me a sensible offer and I might let them go. J
  11. Yeah that was Mike taking the mickey! Anyway we all know the 70's were cooler than the 80's. Yep I will be there tomorrow complete with TT dash and Porker seats and you can all have a look if you ask nicely! ;o) See you'll tomorrow! J
  12. James, I have never seen you around B'mth mate? I would be seriously interested to see it when you get it back. We are all going up from B'mth to No Rice on Wednesday evening if you want to come along? Cheers J
  13. Cheers. The Corrado seats didn't match the TT dash so I thought these would be better. They are actually all black (half leather) the picture makes them look purple for some reason. J
  14. I thought I had done enough with the TT dash, but I just can't leave this damn car alone!! Well I knew Porsches would be good for something other than wheels. Jay.
  15. For those who asked to see another picture, here you go. Cheers J
  16. Well thanks for all the nice comments to start with, makes it worthwhile! Right I will try and answer all the questions. Firstly. The fit of the dash is very tight as I really wanted to make sure it was seriously solid, so spent a lot of time mounting everything properly on decent brackets etc.. I am going to use the Corrado door cards but re-structure them to fit down the side of the dash. I am also intending to add some details to tie the doors into the dash. The Climatronic involves getting a matrix, control panel, loom and ducting from a late VW (MK 4 Golf, Passat etc). You then replace the standard Corrado matrix with the MK4 stuff and ditch all the cables etc.. Fit the control panel in the dash and fit the loom to the matrix. You then need to know all the pin outs of the particular Climatronic unit you have (there are loads of variations), and work out what each of the wires connects to, e.g 12v, earth, switched 12v, etc..etc..etc.. If anyone is interested I will be selling on E-bay the complete corrado dash with late spec switches, late spec vents, late spec glovebox etc.. but G60 clocks, complete with the climatronic panel and loom. Oh yeah also you have to cut a lot out of the back of the pockets to clear the new fan and ducting. NO I am not doing another one!! EVER ;o) phew! J
  17. Hello all. I am new on here so thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jay and for those of you that don't know me, I have a pretty heavily modded G60. I am also the one with the TT dash that has been talked about on here and it part of the reason I have logged on. To answer one of the questions about it, I am currently sorting getting the doorcards made to finish off the job and will hopefully have them for Edition 38. I have looked on this Forum a few times and it seems like a good group so hopefully I can help people out as much as possible with any experience I have of the G60 and Corrados in general. Cheers for now J
