Cheers. Thats the intention, factory look but a bit more modern. Seats are now out, I have changed my mind, they don't quite match the design of the rest of the interior and I am going for something different..... J -
Front engine mount gone! Nice egg in bonnet! Now fixed :-)

If all of you can wait till after inters we are currently finishing and testing a completely new engine mount for all corrados. VR's, 16V's, G60s the lot. Will give more details as I get them. Best thing is its Stainless Steel. Yep. Polish it and you will have no rust! :) Jay. -

No pics of the rears yet, the adaptors were a bit too tight on the hub so I need to get them on the lathe at the weekend to make sure they don't jam on there. Also I have stripped all four of the wheels down to repaint the centres silver again as I am not totally happy with the finish on them. I am probably being a bit too picky, but why not!! Trouble is I have to drive the thing to work every day so I can't leave it with one wheel on/off etc.. Yes Andy that is Barrys V6 4 Motion in the background. Looking good Niko. Nice colour too! Although mine is the Porsche version. :) J -

Yeah the whole lot is a black Corrado leather apart from the Porsche front seats. The door cards are black leather Corrado ones, modified to fit round the TT dash as it is slightly wider than the Corrado dash. -

Cheers. I have to admit I am quite proud of it. My mates and the GF will vouch for that! :) Its a heavily modified Jetta Grille. Its not fitted perfectly yet but its almost there. If your coming to inters it will be in the Show and Shine on the Saturday and the CCGB stand on the Sunday. Would be nice to chat to anyone off here. Jay. -

Nope sit just right behind the porker rims, tucked nicely in the spokes. Close but nice! :) I must admit it was one of my concerns as obviously until you get them on everything is just measurement and theory, but they clear them nicely. Look very Porsche with the Red Brembos sitting behind the rim. J -

Cheers for the nice comments. The wheels are 8.5x17 all round and have custom offsets and adaptors (that I had made to my design) as the outer rims are new to create the correct width etc.. Bit of a complicated one but they are on there! :) J -

Exactly. Messy things, who wants one of those cluttering up the back end! :) -
Well its getting there..... :) The next stage of the transformation for 2004 is complete. TT dash is now basically finished. New leather interior is in, including Porsche 993 Turbo front seats. Outside the 8.5x17" Porsche Turbo splits are on (test fit) and the rear bumper is flushed and FK rear lights are on. One off custom front grill is on and later spec headlights are fitted. Only three weeks to go to inters............still some to do. Any thoughts or comments?? Cheers Jay.

The part number you are after is N902 964 01. M10x40/15 Stud. Hope that helps mate. J

Good effort mate. Its the best feeling when you get a car back on the road after a long time working on it. Mind you I have never had one off the road quite this long!! :)
-
How about some BBS RC's (see my for sale ad) :)
-
Use bostik 2402 two part glue. This stuff is awesome, never gives in heat and will last forever. Basically a two part contact adhesive. Not easy to spread but if you get it right it is awesome stuff. J

This is me a a couple of my mates on New years in Bournemouth, none of us have any idea where we got the hats from.... I'm the one in the middle.

Mark mcie. My G60 (chipped and pullied) has the smaller tank and will do 300 miles of quite hard driving on one tank, if you are only getting 200 miles you want to check the engine over a bit I reckon. Jay.

Cheers, it was a very tidy little car after a hell of a lot of work. It had a 145BHP 1.8 8v. Did a standing 1/4 in 15.65 secs. It had all the usual, coilovers etc.. but also had a MK4 polo dash. I was gutted when it got written off, but I ended up with a Corrado G60 and have not regretted it since. For everyday driving the Corrado is much more useable than the MK1, especially on long journeys. Jay

I miss my MK1, it was mad to drive and looked cool, but it was not as nice an everyday car as the Corrado. I was amazed how much grip the Corrado had the first time I drove it, but that does take away some of the ar5e out fun of the MK1. For those that ever saw it at shows, this is my old MK1. It is no longer, rear ended by a Peu%&ot 405. Jay.

So what have you all done to your cars over the bank holiday? I have just spent 5 days doing nothing but work on my car! :-P The GF went home to her folks and I went back to mine where my Dad has a nice workshop etc.. to make stuff in. Lovely! I have done some quite significant mods to the car over the weekend, but I have not finished it yet, so am not giving anything away till its all done. tee hee hee. Anyone else managed to get out of DIY etc.. to work on the car? J

The postman probably thought I was when I nearly ripped his head off for bending my C. :D J

It was 100% the fault of the post van. He was indicating left and turned right in front of me! He was turning into the drive just behind my car, thats how far a Corrado can punt a Post van when you hit one side on at about 30. It was written off and I got full money back to buy my current G60. J
