  2. I have nearly got my new seats in, but I will show you all what they are once I have them in properly and everything is finished. Pics will be posted of everything I have been doing over the winter in a couple of weeks. :) J
  3. What size wheels are those on the SLC YA Black Corrado?
  4. Mines showing 30,100. But I guess having a different dash is cheating :D

Bill Brockbank is the man to speak to. Details are at http://www.Badger5.co.uk. This kit has everything you need. However you do have to either buy new caliper bolts or cut down the standard ones. J

Yep I would agree with that. Brembos are a dead easy conversion and they seriously work!! J
  8. Not my style to be honest but total respect for the amount of work you have done. Good to see people trying new things on the Corrado. Just out of interest what headlights are those? J
  9. Yeah basically on the later type, like I have on my TT dash, many of the functions work through the ECU on what is called a CAN data bus. This makes things a lot more tricky if you are using an earlier type engine which does not have this feature. So for a simpler install use the early type dials. For a nicer display and added features use the later type, but expect a lot more work and you need a good knowledge of how it all works! J
  10. Have you hired the trailer yet then Ben! :) :) :)
  11. Just don't pick 38A. Thats already mine!! :) J
  12. Sukhs car has 16" wheels not 17's John. He runs an ET 0 as well! J
  13. Excellent pictures. I particularly like Picture 15 as it is the black 16v I am selling for £2500 if anyone is interested ;) Need the money to fund my Corrado overhall for inters! ;)
  14. Zak, Nice to know people appreciate it, but I am currently in the throws of improving on all aspects of the car. Wheels, interior, exterior the lot. Roll on Inters 2004! ;) J
  15. Apparently there is a photo of my dash in there but I have not seen it yet. J
  16. Blair, Cheers for the comments mate. Although it was at a reasonable stage last year there is a hell of a lot to come for the new show season this year. It is all a work in progress at the moment but give me a few weeks and it will be ready for inters. Obviously I will give the Forum a sneaky peek before the show! :) To answer your question yes I had to cut loads out of the back to get it to fit. No so much around the edge, but actually underneath. J
  17. Best mod for a Corrado............... TT Dash. ;) No seriously though, the best mod is lupo wipers. You can finally see where you are going at speed. J
  18. You fit the whole thing ;) Sorry couldn't resist.
  19. Just out of curiosity has anyone fitted a De-cat pipe to a G60 with a standard exhaust? How much difference did it make to the noise? It is only really relevant to me if it was on a G60 with a standard system not a VR or a 16v. If you fitted one was it a straight pipe or a little silencer? Cheers Jay.
  20. Right my guess is RUF Porker wheels. Something like this. Am I right? J
  21. My mistake, I got the speakers for Christmas and it turns out they are actually 5x7" weird size!! Still they are not right and I need to swap them for the right ones! I'll get my coat! J
  22. The rear speakers in a C are not 6x4. They are 3 1/4 x 5. If you get 6x4's they will not fit. I got some and they are way too big. Hope this helps. J
  23. I have been fortunate/misfortunate enough to have fitted all kinds of dashes to all kinds of cars. I have done; MK2 dash into my MK1 Golf then MK4 Polo Dash into my MK1 Golf Late Corrado dash with Climate control into my G60 Corrado. Audi TT dash with climate into my G60 Corrado. I have also done my mates cars. MK3 dash into MK2 Golf Corrado dash into MK2 Golf I am a glutten for punishment!!! Basically every single one is a lot of work if you want to do it properly, lots of people do it badly, with lots of things not working, fitting etc.. but if you want to do it properly, it takes a hell of a lot of fabrication, planning and wiring!!! J

    Hesitant G60

Sounds like there is a leak in the pipe that runs from the throttle body to the ECU. If this leaks (even a tiny one) it will run really hesitant until the revs get up. Check its not fraying and split just behind the throttle body, if it is cut the tired bit off re-attach it and take it for a run, if its OK replace the whole pipe as it has to be exactly 1m long and if its not will never be perfect. Give it a go, hope it helps Regards J
