  1. Cheers Blair. I am happy to say it went on the rollers today at Stealth for the Corrado Club Rolling road day and with it having never been near a tuners (other than me) I was happy to see it get 199.2 BHP and 193.1 lbft of torque!! :D :D :D
  2. I don't want it too warm for the rollers at stealth on Sunday! Just dry and cool would be fine! ;o) So how many people are going up to Stealth then? J
  3. He looks confused to me. Perhaps he is trying to work out why I bothered to put an Audi TT dash and Porsche seats, in a Corrado! :) I think the same sometimes! :D
  4. Probably worth sorting and selling over here. If they are full leather they will look spot on in a standard black leather Corrado interior. J
  5. Yep, anything from 924,944,911,968 etc..etc.. There are plenty of Porsche seats out there to choose from. Get E-baying!! :D
  6. See my post http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=
  7. Following on from the earlier question about replacing front seats with those from other makes and models, I thought I would point out that I am able to offer custom subframes to fit almost any Porsche front seat into the Corrado. I have used them to fit full electric Porsche Turbo front seats in my Corrado (see pictures) and the subframes are built so the Porsche seats not only sit at exactly the same height and angle as the Corrado seats, but also use the original VW plastic clips and slide in and out as standard. They require absolutely no modifcation at all to the car, so the mod is fully reversible. I can do the a pair of subframes for forum members at £180. I can honestly say there is no more comfortable seat than the Porsche ones and you can find a type to suit your budget. Jay.
  8. I guess I will have to go and get a copy of that too then :) J
  9. Nigel, What make of strut brace is that? Cheers J
  10. Cheers. It will be in the post over the weekend. :)
  11. I think Jelly has taken my favourite photo of my paintwork with this one.
  12. Haven't really played with the VR much, but is the ECU vacuum fed? As that is exactly the symptoms I had on the G60 when the vacuum pipe to the ECU was tired. Doubt it, but it may help. J
  13. Paul, Cheers mate. I have been doing this for too long I reckon! :) Well the engine bay will be painted (and a bit more) when I decide what to put in it! :) J
  14. kieron, cheers mate, long time no see. Hope to see you at some of the shows/meets over the summer. Bally, as I mentioned before its got to be a bonus for it to look better in the flesh! :)
  15. No problem, I get called a lot worse! :) The colour is Porsche Amethyst although it is almost identical to Blackberry metallic on the VR, just very very slightly darker and more pearly. J
  16. Yeah can someone actually change the title of the thread as my name is actually James or Jay as I am also known, not Jamie, just to avoid confusion. ;o) I was a bit dissapointed about the lack of pictures of the seats, but generally I am pleased. The fact it looks better in the metal I guess is good as often you see cars in the mag that look great, but in the metal look ar5e!
  17. Cheers everyone, just got a copy of the mag from the PVW boys at No-rice well chuffed. Need to do some more now to keep it innovative, but I think I should give my GF some attention first! :) I'm off to bed!
  18. I use the new Meguairs stuff 'nxt generation' tech wax. Which the meguairs lot recommended to me as being much better than gold class. I also use their tyre black which is superb and their wash soap which you only have to use a tiny tiny bit of. It all kicks the ass of Autoglym. This is how mine looked after a bit of a polish. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5413&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=60[/url]
  19. Alex, When I did mine the easiest way to get the old ones out is to drill a hole in the rubber and pass a hacksaw through. Hacksaw out the rubber section as much as possible, then hacksaw through the metal outer sleeve in two places. That then allows you to "chisel" out a section of the metal outer quite easily and then the whole bush just falls out. In terms of getting them in again I used a steel box frame and a VW spare wheel jack, pushed them in no probs. J
  20. Mine is a "pre" feature car because it is in PVW next month (out in a week or so). WOOOHOOO!!! Can't wait. So I expect you all to buy a copy! :D :D J
