Hi, Not being funny mate but it's not exactly good for the car (especially the clutch) to hold it on the biting point! Was there a funny smell when you were outside the car? You shouldnt be able to get smoke of the clutch though really- Did the water tempreture shoot up on the dash and the oil on the MFA?-
-
Which ones do you mean though? Are we talking coil overs or the standard top adjustastable shocks with spring?
-
Cheers G60 - that rules the Avo's out then! Ive heard that the konis arent good either as alot of them fail and leak so not going down that route either. :? Venom Motorsport do a kit called Viper tech for 250 sheets that includes poly bump stops but dont know if its any good- any one got this on their wagon??? Or any one know of a good setup?

My cars already lowere on a boge kit but this is rock AND IM SICK OF IT! :x Any one got any suggestions - i need at least a 50mm drop but not ridiculously hard like i have at the moment! Please help !

Hi Dubcharged, My engines state of tune is- R1 charger from jabba sport (includes induction kit), AMD chip + De cat + exhaust and 68mm pulley- do you think it would benefit from these injectors? + how much are they if so? + ANy idea on what sort of plugs i should be using? Sorry for all the questions! But you know your stuff! :D

Hi, Id steer clear mate - sounds like the previous owner was a bit of a cowboy and should of stuck to riding his horse! + you dont know what he was re-filling it with! :( Probably the same oil he used for hiw lawn mower! - engine could have alot of wear on it beacuse of this and remember the oil light only comes on when the thing is practically bone dry. There are loads out there mate so have alook at some others....

Hi, Car looks very nice mate, especially like the blue dials and heater control trick- Is this easy to do? I know you will have probably been asked this a hundred times :x but how do you change from green light to blue and red?
-
Doesnt look that bad ! It's probably the alarm/imobiliser that's making the engine switch off- even if it was something else it wouldnt be something that difficult to fix im sure. Poor thing

Hi Beetlebug 2001 I think it's only fair that you return the favour to your mate. Get a couple of Stella in you and do the same to his car- my advise would be to go for his rear quarte panel though as there much harde to repair! If he dpesnt drive then just try and shag his girl freind.

Thanks G60 Jet, Ive seen uprated wiring looms advertised on e-bay- but they seem quite expensive for what they are - i'll try and find the "how to bit" on here first- Does anyone know where it is? It still doesnt explain why the dash light gets brighter though (so you can actually see it) when you hold the lever in...
-
Did you have the JR one from jabba sport? How come you didnt like it? As i would of thought that no drilled air box would be a match for an induction kit with cold air feed? Or am i talking rubbish? (again) What sort of sound does the airbox make?

Hi, Hi i have late spec 91 G60 anI have this problem, i know the lights on corrado are preety rubbish but i think mine migh thave a problem! :?: When i put full beam on it would appear that low beam goes off as the light that comes out of the lamp shines up ward and stop lighting the road ahead- also the blue full beam light on the dash is very very dull and during the day you cant actually see it working (cant think how many driver ive p*ssed of!), but when i hold the stalk in the low beam and full beam both work and the dash light and the headlights get much brighter. Is this a common problem? Does any of you guys know the problem? Please help as drivng in the dark is a nighmare!!!

Point Taken! Im a winging git who's not having much luck at the moment!!!

Hi You think you had a bad weekend! My C had the back quarter panel scratched by someone when i parked on the road outside my girlfreinds house at some pont on friday evening- no dent but big scratch that has gone through the laquer and looks shite! Saturday morning- had to go to work and was very tired. Whilst trying to park the c in the car park my foot slipped off the clutch and I put the front of the car into a brick wall- took alot of paint of i can tell you! lunchtime was spent crying on the bonnet flailing my arms around in the air shouting it's not fare! :x Sunday afternoon- discovered that my back tyre was flat as a pancake as it had a great bit nail sticking in it! - This was the final straw  - SO lets not complain about some silly water hose mate!!!!! My poor corrado!!!

Hi, Im not sure about the K&N filter for the g60 fitting your C but i have an induction kit from Jabba Sport which has a heat shield- quite pricy at £150 but sounds awesome and gives a bit more power and looks preety good under the bonnet- contact them on 01733-211779 and they'll sort you out! :)
-
Hi G60 Your right it does shift straight into 3rd without any problems! but which bit do i need to adjust and how??? :?
-
Thanks, Valver! Anyone fitted one of these? I know they make the revs spin up quicker but do they actually make the car quicker? Any ideas on the Notchy Box?

Hi, I have the standard cable change box on my G60- why is it that sometimes its an absoloute arse trying to get it out of reverse? It's also really notchy :x and it is beginning to get quite annoying now!- i have regreased all moving parts associated with the change mechanism and greased the mechanism on the box its self but still no change! :x I used to have a Mk3 VR6 golf with the same cable change box and the change on this was so silky smooth it was heaven! Ive been trying for months to get this sorted and im begining to lose it now! - if i cant get it sorted i might think about getting rid of the car but i really dont want to but cant continue having to fight with the gear nob! Please Help!!! + Does anyone out there know people who do lightened flywheels for the G60?
-
Ive only had Vw's so i cant complain! - 1 Polo, Mk2 Golf Driver,Mk2 Golf GTI 16V, Mk3 VR6, Jetta GTI 8V, And Now my Corrado G60- Not bad considering im only 22!- But probably the worst was the VR6 as it had a serious drink problem and Having cost £7k at the time blew the head gasket after just a week! - went like Sh*t off a shiny shovel though- it's still in the family- costing my Step dad a small fortune :) + the Corrado is quicker!
-
HI, I think i have one spare as i ditched my air box for a Jabba sport induction kit. Not sure where i put it though so will have alook for your mate tonight and let you know tomorrow- preety sure i still have it
-
They probably have been just the generall pullover jobs as ive never had anything "stuck up my exhaust" :? so i must of been lucky! :D My cats staying off though.
-
There is no Big fine issued- i took my cat off along time ago (post 92 car) and have been pulled by the filth many times (damm them!) and had my car inspected and they have never questioned me for having removed the cat- and in ay case even if they were to winge about it, you are given seven days to rectify any fault with your car- So dont worry! 8)

Hi Probably waondering why id want to do this but.. My mates keep taking the Pxss saying that the dash on my c is the same as that on a Mk2 Astra, and i can kinda see their point- the heater controils are exactly the same and situated in the same place . Does anyone no what's invovled in changing to later spec ones- i.e from the sliding one to the round "knob" ones? It also makes the car a little more modern i think :? Someone help or i'll have to start knee capping them!
