  1. Anyone out there sitting on a CF bonnet they want their money out of??
  2. Thanks for the replies! Perhaps I'll just do without then. I knew plenty of people run cars without them, but I didn't appreciate how non-essential they actually are, plus I liked the idea of keeping the car as faithful as possible (although obviously I'm no purist)...
  3. Thanks mate!I guess diameter-wise we're not talking about a lot of difference, so I'm sure the originals would still serve their purpose, but originals seem thin on the ground, and quite a lot of money. My question was as much "is there anything else out there that can be made to fit without too much hassle"
  4. Hi, apologies if this has been gone over before and I've failed to find it. I've fitted (or am fitting) 280mm rear brakes to my VR6. My back plates were mostly rust and disintegrated on removal so I wasn't even able to offer them up to the car to see if they'd go back on with the new brakes. Any steer toward a suitable part most welcome!
  5. Two in as many days! Black (I think - car very dusty) ENG on the Daventry - Weedon Road. Sounded nice.
  6. Blue 16v BVP in Hardingstone, Northants; anyone?
  7. Brewer. Probably not much use to anyone on here, but as above - nice idea.
  8. I've also got the Britax Evolva, and - as above - rate it as good value given that it "Evolv"s to accommodate growing kids. It's a well designed bit of kit imo.
  9. Afraid I can't assist in your part search, but just for your information - don't expect that mk2 item to slot straight in... There's a fair bit of fettling required.
  10. I've got a set of Speedlines sat on my driveway. They all want a refurb, but all caps present.
  11. I had a set up like easypops with a self-overwriting hard drive. Four cameras, one looking down at the front door, one looking down the garden at the garage, one inside the garage, and one in the alleyway behind the garage looking down at the roller shutter... My only advice would be to get infared kit - it's a must, and to stuck with wires. I effed about for a while with mine before I was happy, and the wireless ones didn't cut it for me. Tech may have come along since, but for my money you can't beat the physical option, as long as you fork out for good wires and connecters if there are long distances involved.
  12. Hi mate, if those rainwater protectors (trim from bottom of screen, right?) are free of cracks or damage I'll have all 3, please!
  13. If the windscreen trim doesn't go for any reason I'd be a buyer on that 100%. Good luck with the rest of the sale.
  14. Been lurking around this forum long enough to know I could expect a reply from you, mate, but yeah that's quite the slog from here. Thanks all the same!
  15. Hi, looking for the metal beam that joins the rear bumper and holds the mounts. I WOULD buy a whole bumper to get one, but then I've got excess plastic to find a new home for... I'm in the Northampton area, which is obviously relevant for a part of that size. Cheers, all
  16. He's having some kind of internal struggle there. Perhaps a Corrado owner nicked his girlfriend once.
  17. Imagine how it would feel if the buy back option was suddenly off the table and you went back to regretting selling again. That's all you need to know about which way to go...
  18. I can relate. Some years ago I tried to buy back an XR2 I shouldn't have sold, but got blanked. For a while I was even checking on its tax, but it never showed as being paid up, so I've got a feeling he tracked it; which it was way too good for... Hope you enjoy better luck than I did, anyway. Special car, yours.
  19. Righto. Sorry if their name is a swear-word here. Remembered seeing the blue leather and thought I'd be helpful...
  20. Just been and found it - the seller is amosmotorsltd. Obviously no way of telling if he still has the bits, but worth an ask. Was the blue an option then, anyone?
  21. I saw a blue leather interior amongst various other bits on a breaker's photo reel on eBay a couple of weeks back. Was going to post on here to ask about it as I'd never seen one before (but never got round to it)
  22. Feel for you, man. Can't believe no one has had your arm off - some serious work gone into that. Guess everyone must really enjoy their rear seats... GLWTS.
