Thanks guys- here's a couple of pics. Many more on the way ;)

Had an impromptu convoy with a dark green (thought it was black at first) VR on the M4 last night after picking up my VR 8)
-
Picked up my new VR tonight- well chuffed! More details tomorrow...
-
Looking great there, Darren! Mind you, it wasn't too bad already, was it? ;)

Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)

Jim, my new VR has a Sachs kit which gives a superb compromise - firmer/better handling than standard, decent 40mm drop, but very comfortable ride. They feel almost identical to the Weitec kit (not coilovers) I had on the 16v. Loved that set up! -

It's a very snug fit and slots onto some 'runners'. Tap it out of the airbox with a hammer ;) -
That's what happens when you write a quick reply! Didn't realise you were in Sweden
-
That was a great day 8) Steve, didn't realise I was next to you on that day! That's my blackberry VR 8) So, your G60 does exist... Can see me in the background too- Jim, is that your sis next to me? I remember taking you, your sis and Chris out for a blast and scaring the locals  Think we all went out in Chris' car too :) I'm sure there was a pic of loads of us standing under a tree too :)

You're best off buying a black interior. Think there's a whole set for sale over in the For Sale section at the mo ;)

 Bugger! Gutting when stuff like that happens :( If you need a good straight bonnet, we've still got the one off the breaker, which is in great condition. Wouldn't want a lot for it ;) Re: VR knocking- are all the caliper bolts present and tight? Otherwise I guess droplinks, top mounts etc. -

The original box will be fine! Have a look at Kev's engine bay in his sig above- standard airbox with turbo etc running big power 8) The VR makes a nice noise with just the snorkel removed- no need to drill! -
Ah, she's looking good, Darren 8) Feel a little sad at the mo, to be honest, but excited about getting another ;)
-
It sure was! It is a shame- I've got mixed feelings to be honest :? It was such a lovely car- I put so much time into it, as did the previous owner. Thankfully, I suspect the new owner will do the same 8)

Patience, Ian, patience! Maybe next weekend...

Hooray! The Monkey lives! Bet you're looking forward to seeing the Plum again 8)

Look cracking, Chris! 8) I'd defo wind the rears up a touch and space them so they are at least equal with the fronts.
-
Of course I kept them!

Stop fishing! By the way, you're very cold! YHPM by the way ;)

 I prefer VR6 and for me it is THE Corrado, but your valver was stunning and so very sorted :notworthy: I hope you find a VR6 thats in similar condition :salute: Thanks, Gareth. That's always in the back of my mind- VR is most certainly THE Corrado in my book too. The potential new VR is in good nick, not as good as the 16v though. I know the owner, and know it's been looked after. I can't afford to buy a pristine one- I basically have the money from the 16v to play with, but I'd be more than happy with this VR if it works out :)
-
Yup ;)
-
Just sold the 16v :( Feel quite sad really, but I'm sure I'll recover once the VR arrives  It's gone to a very good home, and the new owner, Darren (v8rumbler) said he would start a gallery thread very soon 8)

It's almost certainly the matrix. I wouldn't use Radweld.
