mbaker8v, got the same backbox on mine. Looks good, and sounds excellent. Was an absolute pig to fit though! Stealth took ages with it, and even then it was still knocking on the axle. Sorted it with some rad hose tiewrapped to the axle.

Do you still hear the electrical noise when it's not working? If so, it's prob a blockage in the tubing somewhere. If you're not hearing any sort of noise, sounds like it's a wiring prob.

Yeh, dental floss is the way to go when removing badges :) Then get any residue off with some WD40, polish, warm soapy water or similar.

Another one coming back! Nice one 8)

Always liked them too 8) Just get someone else to clean 'em! Toothbrush time  -
Do you mean the lower grille? If so, ECP do them for around £38.

Thanks Phil K andVR6. Chris VR6nos, agree with ya mate- search is usually fantastic, but can also be a tad frustrating sometimes. I think even if things have been covered before, if someone knows the solution to a prob, it's much quicker/easier for them to write a quick post, rather than someone trawling through hundreds of threads in the search.

The windows have started making a scraping noise when used. Discovered today that they are both scratching. The scratches are vertical and are on the bottom half of the glass. Any ideas? Cheers

The car is looking stunning, Jim. What wheels are you thinking of? Can't really beat Estorils IMHO 8) -
mo_527, if there is no documentation to prove a rebuild, I would definately get it done by G-Werks or someone similar. Chargers are always noisy! Not sure if porting it would make that much difference to the sound.

Welcome to wonderful world of the Corrado! Similar thing happened to me at Stealth last week, and I'm skint too. Oily plug could be the rocker cover gasket- had same thing with my valver, and it turned out to be the gasket. My front mount was snapped too. Went there expecting to pay £250 for a cam and supension fitment, and came away having spent £500!!! If it turns out to be the RC gasket, it shouldn't be too costly. Let's hope!

Very sorry to hear your news :( :( :(

If you don't trust him, walk away. Only buy a car you're totally sure about. I wouldn't touch a Corrado (especially a G60) with a barge pole if it had no paperwork. No previous MOTs or receipts is worrying, as is the lack of service history.

Nice 8)

Shorting out somewhere. Check your mirror switch is in good working order.

Seat Ibiza or Arosa Skoda Fabia Honda Civic or Jazz Out of those, reckon the 3 door Civic (95-00) model is the best bet. Nice looking little car and totally reliable. My wife was looking at them a year ago, and there were some seriously low mileage cars out there for not much money.

I'm here! Had 6, but pretty sure Wales has had at least 6 too :) Wonder if anyone's had more than that...

A-ha! Cheers matey, didn't think of that. What size bulb are they?
-
grimmy, sorry to hear your problems! :( Try unplugging the MAF. If the car dies after a few seconds, it should be OK. If it keeps running, it's knackered.

Nice one :) 8) DanA, cheers :)

Yeh, had new top mounts too. Thanks Kev, that gives me a bit more peace of mind! :) I just need to be a bit more patient

Hello mate. Yeh, it was still on the original 14 yr old suspension. Here's the Koni Sport kit I bought from Awesome GTI http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/vw%20corrado/suspension.html
