Cheers, _Monkey, I'll let you know :D

This car just gets better and better! I'm another- get it slammed!
-
Thanks Roddy :) Baz, you have PM.
-
Thanks Baz, but think Roddy is only going on the Saturday. Do you know if anyone else is going? Cheers

Supposed to be a good bit of kit, although I haven't experienced one first hand. Similar design to the Turn2 kit, although it's made out of carbonfibre. Would think it is defo louder than the BMC though, as it's an open cone.

Just wondering if anyone from Bristol is going to Inters on the Saturday, and would be able to collect a boot carpet off Roddy (VR6Storm) for me? Would be much appreciated, as I can't make it :( Cheers!

sciroccotune, cheers :) Sure I heard that the later MK3 16v ones were made out of steel or something though, and are therefore much stronger :?: :?

Looking good 8) If you've already got Koni/H&R, I really wouldn't bother with the lowering caps. I'd go for a BMC CDA.
-
Really don't like gold wheels, just don't look right IMHO. Think black centres on the black C would look awesome.

How about that SA imported Golf MK1 that's on Autotrader? Other than that I'd go with an Octavia or a Passat.

Liking the twin pipes. A bit different, but not too OTT 8) -
There's oil leaking into plug socket 2 on my valver. Looked inside, and it's coming from about 1/3 of the way down, so I guess this means the rocker cover gasket? Is it best to replace with a MK3 16v gasket? Sure I read this somewhere :? If so, has anyone got a part number for it? Cheers

This is looking nice 8)

Phil K, late dash 8) Yeh, 'tis clean. Main reason I bought it was because of the body work. There isn't a single ding or rust anywhere, and there are only a couple of tiny chips. 16v, no I can't! I've tried, believe me, but it's imposssible (as Walesy will also testify, I'm sure!). Have just finished tinting the rear lights. Did the fronts the other day. I'll get some updated piccies up soon :) Can't wait to get the suspension and cam done at Stealth 8)

Cheers bud :)

Just finished tinting my tail lights 8) ... and also discovered oil all over one of the spark plugs :? ...

Right, gave the bias valve a load of WD40 and a good hammering, and the handbrake is now working! Thanks for the advice guys :D and 2_Door_fun, thanks for the brilliant pics. Have got hold of a couple of MKIV red anniversary callipers as a precausion

Hi! Sounds like you got a bit of a bargain!

Is your mirror switch in good working order? Had a similar problem with the windows in my first valver- took it to 3 garages and none of them could find the fault. Out of desperation I decided to change the door electricals, and luckily I started with the mirror switch, which solved it all! Everything worked perfectly after it was changed.

Much prefer the top ones!

Not sure- give them a call.

Easy enough job if you prep it properly. GPC is prob best place to get one- around £23 if I remember correctly.
