Sounds a nice mota! Any pics? What's the mileage? There seem to be quite a few probs with stainless aftermarket exhausts and lowered suspension- my Magnex was touching the back axle and making a real racket :( Took it to my local VW specialist and they did a great job- cut off a small piece and repositioned it- didn't take them long, and it's now perfect :D

The clanking turned out to be wheel barings- got really bad :? Had it sorted- £140 :shock: - mostly labour. This didn't sort the other rattle though which must be something else :roll: . Still got a light, metallic jangling sound coming from the front passenger side. I can only hear it when I have the passenger window open, and it's driving me nuts! Like yours, Andi, it happens when I go over bumps :mad:

I made the mistake of paying them £80 when I sold my G60 :? They gave me all that garbage about potential buyers, and they were very persuasive- never again! Didn't have a single response from their ads. Everyone who called about the car saw the Autotrader ad, and a few mentioned the E & M ad and CCGB ad too. Stick with Autotrader, CCGB and the free ads.

£7k for a 16v? :shock: Unless it's done under 30k miles, that's extortionate!

Too right! :wink: Went after 3-4 days, and I've seen it driving around since- guy gave me a wave which is always good to see :D
