Yeh, always best to keep a cool head. Difficult when people are being dangerous though :x

Can vouch for the quality of Dan's stickers- looked excellent on my valver :D 8)

Saturday morning, M20, guy in a black Honda Integra started throwing rubbish out of his window at me 'cos he didn't want me to overtake! So dangerous at 70+ :? Basically, he was undertaking, tailgating etc in the traffic. Then when it cleared he wouldn't let me past! He started gesticulating wildly. I was never less than about 2-3 car lengths behind so wasn't tailgating (which I hate myself, so wouldn't do to anyone else). Guess he couldn't hack it that he was no longer the fastest car on the road

I'm with Nige, engine!

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a tyre/wheel package from? Went to my local place and was quoted silly money :? :(
-
Cheers guys! :? So ET35 should be a safe bet then? As you say, most websites say it will fit a VR6.

Hi all, want to get some 16's for the VR- what wheel offset do I need? I don't want to use spacers. Cheers!
-
You can get VW ones from any stealer, quite cheap too. Would have thought you could easily get the Porsche ones quite easily too, may be it bit more pricey though
-
Thanks Rams- I'll give it a go tomorrow :) Yeh, no dizzy as it's a later VR. Cheers Rodders

Saw a yellow C with clear inpro's heading towards Bristol yesterday afternoon- I was going the opposite way. Anyone on here?

Hi all, The car is misfiring, and after it was serviced I was told it needed new leads and a lamda sensor. Ordered the leads from GSF- any tips on fitting them? I know it's supposed to be an easy job, but I want to do it properly without damaging anything. I have the plastic VW plug tool. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers ps- car is '95 VR6.

I've had all three now, and they're just sooo different, it's impossible to compare really. My G60 had a chip/pulley and was very fast, but my personal preference would have to be the VR. It's slightly faster than the G60 (although the power delivery is entirely different), and it's just so smooth yet still sounds incredible (got an induction kit  8) ). Mind you, the sound of the charger was awesome too...and the drilled airbox on the 16v  They all have their merits- wish I could've kept the valver- it was a great car :(

Migs, I agree entirely about the image of the Saxo etc, and it's not exactly a Corrado, but I think some of the comments above were incredibly insensitive towards Jim. It's bad enough that he can't drive the car he wants to (unlike the rest of us), let alone having people being completely disrespectful about the car he currently drives out of neccesity.
-
Remember comfortably beating a VTS in my old G60, but it was around a roundabout and up a dual carriage way, not off the lights. Erm, let's also have a bit of sensitivity towards Jim here, you lot have just badly dissed his car! :? It may not be a C, but it's still a decent little car- good value etc- just happens that a lot of them are driven by complete idiots, thus giving them a bad name.
-
Think they're horrible! A bit to bling for the C imho. Only like the smoked inpro's and FK's 8)
-
Kamei one is a bit pricey though! :? Had one on my old G60 that I bought from Volks-bits for around £25- fitted perfectly and looked great once I'd sprayed it 8) :D

The second one has got to be the ugliest C ever!   Been looking for that pic for ages! Was gonna put it in The Ugliest C's thread ages ago. A true abomination :? Ingenuity tho' :)
-
Definately the 3-slat! 8) That big ol' chrome one looks pretty sweet too
-
Renault Fuego!

Jim, I'd have to agree about the Type-R's. The Integra is pretty rare, looks good and apparently has handling to rival a C  The Accord is supposed to be a lot more torqey than other Hondas too. Lack of torque was partly what turned me against my VTI.

After I eventually find a VR6....... Impreza P1 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Audi S3

The deal looks like it's fallen through :( It failed it's MOT because of a faulty ABS sensor, and the guy is being funny about getting it fixed :( Was gonna go for another regular VR, but the guy phoned me back and said he'd decided not to sell it! Second time that's happened in the last couple of weeks! Getting really fed up with this! Been messed around so much, I feel like giving up and sticking with the valver.

Jim, Papua New Guinea is indeed an absolute stonker! It's on Accelerator, not ISDN. All of their albums are superb, especially Dead Cities 8)
