The Passat cover is cheap as chips and the mk2 cover is easy to fit. A good combo and look oem 8)

Hi! As above- don't sell up!
-
Wow- it's come around quickly! All the best matey, enjoy every minute, and just chill if something goes wrong! ;)

QS in Nailsworth. Did those two things and an antiroll bar for £20 8)
-
Forgot to say- also picked up my bonnet prop and rear bumper iron from the powder coaters. They look superb. Well worth doing the prop- it looks like new. Much cheaper than buying a new one for £40! So, next jobs are: Sort heater fan (completely packed up) Fit refurbished fuel tank straps (thanks Ian!) Fit refurbished bumper iron Remove seats/carpets for a deep clean

VW still do rads. Expensive, but pretty much the same price as the one Euro sell. -
Yeh, good job it did or you'd have been in trouble! The big day is fast approaching- what's the date again? All set?
-
Thanks Ian :) Did you manage to move the breaker tonight?
-
It was the natural idle. Fast idle was 0.03% 8) We should definitely be getting a refund!
-
Well took her in for the MOT today at my local VW specialist (Blake Services, Stroud). Passed with flying colours. Co2 emissions were just 0.01% 8) Couple of minor advisories: handbrake cable + front wishbone bushes. Well chuffed, especially with the emissions!

The metal strip under the headlights is the slam panel! Maybe still available, but will be very, very expensive. Plenty knocking around from breakers- you'll have to get it resprayed though.
-
I like the colour scheme, but hate the stupid side repeaters on the front bumper, the bonnet extension etc. Nasty.
-
I didn't get Planet Terror either. My mate was raving about it- such a let down- not my cuppa at all- hated it 25/100  Watched Deathly Hallows 2 in the cinema the other day- loved it! 85/100 The Bank Job: 62/100 The Bucket List: 65/100

Could you not spray them? -
Thanks for the link, Greeny 8) Yep, by centre console, I mean the plastic part that houses the central heater vents, stereo, heater controls. Just be careful not to tighten the srews too much when refitting- the plastic is quite brittle and cracks easily ;)

Lockage. Please don't start multiple threads asking the same question. As this is an 'interior' question, we'll stick with the other thread in 'Interior' ;)
