Oh, didn't even think to check second hand, whoops! I've never had one, not sure how it wasn't picked up on it's MOT last year but I noticed it was loose so I got one ordered in.

I'm just wondering what the benefit of the mk4 rear brake upgrade is? I see a lot of people do it, but aren't the disc and pad sizes the same? Or do you get more surface contact?

Not sure if this is the right place, so sorry if it isn't! I've just ordered a battery bracket/clamp (the part to hold it to the battery tray) from VW and was told the original part was obsolete and that they had ordered me one from a Lupo instead. Apparently it needs to be modified to fit. Is this normal? I've never heard of this before....I don't mind, just seems a bit odd. Waiting for my Dad to collect it for me, so I'll post pictures once it arrives.

It's odd, I thought it might be hanging when the quick reply editor was loading, but now I'm leaning more towards the attachment add in as it's worse when I look at a members thread page which has lots of pictures attached. If it's just me then I'll try a few things, it just puzzles me that it happens at work and home.

I've been having a weird issue on the forum that started only recently (not sure exactly when...a couple of weeks ago maybe). Anyway, it was taking ages to load pages to the point where Chrome was hanging. I've made it better by changing back to the forum default of how many posts to display per page, but it was running fine on the highest number ever since the we changed to the new software a few months back so not sure what's different. Any ideas? Has been happening on my Chrome at work and home. I don't use other browsers these days so haven't done any testing at this stage.

You could ditch the glove box and make up something to keep it there, but it's a bit out of reach as a driver. You're not supposed to operate it whilst you're driving anyway ;)

Retracted. The parts arrived along with a very sincere apology from macdaddy so he now gets a thumbs up from me for having a genuine reason and getting the problem sorted.

Haha. I sometimes connect my ipad to my ipod head unit if I want to listen to some music on it (it wont charge it), but I can never see it being part of an oem dash install, it's just too big!! Good luck with that tho.

I've not had any done here myself but I know they are considered one of the best in the country http://www.lepsons.com/ and I fully intend to get my Speedlines done there when I have the cash. I think V-Dubstar got his gold speedlines done there.

I am of the understanding that if you use it on the inside glass it also stops it fogging up and if you use it through the winter (on the outside) the glass wont get ice on it. I presume the latter is only true to a point.

Well it comes about from a conversation I was having with my dad who just spent a tidy sum on a TT to replace his aged Laguna. I decided that to get something I really wanted I would have to spend a lot more than I have got, so I started playing with the idea of getting the Corrado up to scratch and pondering how much I would want vs need to spend. I decided that if I could get my Corrado how I wanted it for £3k then it would be worth while doing, so I thought a thread like this would give me a very vague idea of what is possible for that sort of amount.

+1 for emu from me. Just purchased a foglight and an indicator for a good price with fair postage. They arrived swiftly and well packaged and would happily recommend!
