  1. Thanks for the kind words mate :) As I said in the forsale thread it's not a decision I've taken lightl and put many hours of through into it. Will be sad to see her go after going through so many ups and downs but she all ways came through. Got a 2 wheeled itch I've been resisting for a very long time I need to scratch and its not fair to keep a car like this locked up in a garage when some one could be enjoying her and using her for what she was ment to do. I won't be going any where as this is a great forum so ill still be around enjoying the banter and helping some new people with what little knowledge I have. And like every one I'm sure ill be back behind a wheel of a Corrado before Long :)
  2. Passed a a Green Corrado earlier on the A40 just out side of Huntley at around 1.55. Looked like it was lowered and had black rims (possibly a polishe lip) I was in my new daily (rover 220 ) I flashed and gave the thumbs up.
  3. Wow is that really the going price for them these days?
  4. I stopped a women getting raped the other night! I just stopped Chassing her!
  5. Wow my take them off my car now could do with the extra cash!
  6. Too much and at the same time not enough to get it where I want ;) but so far every penny well spent
  7. Defo worth a getting a helmet Vaughan mine is only a cheap one but I'm glad I wore it on my recent off as I landed pretty much with my feet in the air. My shoulder tool the brunt tho

    Pacific Rim

I thought Pacific Rim was something you get from the Wrong type of "lady" in Thailand?
  10. As promised here is the link to a fb page that races the Corrado. Based in hamburger. https://m.facebook.com/fast.racing.7
  11. Indeed, all depends how deep your pockets are at the end of day. Unfortunately for me they weren't deep enough to rebuild the 12v or to get an R32 :D
  12. **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ****!!!!! Just realised this is the same weekend I have booked my stag do! Will see if I can work my way around It to pop over for an hour or so! Cant believe I've done that :(
  13. There is a page on fb I'm following that races a corrado. Can't for the life of me remember what they are called but they are German (I think) the corrado is red and black. As soon as I find it will post a link
  14. Buying a used 12v has the same problems as buying a used 24v! So that comparison is pretty redundant. I would have loved to have stayed with the 12v just for the noise but when you get down the nuts and bolts the 24v is newer and is a lot better engine to use every day in my opinion. There is no waiting for the 12v to "wind" up where as the 24v has power on tap. My torque graph looks exactly like table mountain! Comes straight in and is flat through out ad at 220lbft I'm not complaining one bit about the lack of induction roar!
  15. I can confirm the above is correct. Only reason I went for a 24v as it was a lt cheaper to do! Don't get me wrong i really do miss the vr6 roar but the 24v (2.8 ) is hell of a lot easier to drive, instant power and great torque in most parts of the rev range. But in the inside it doesn't sound any where as good as the old 12v! My 24v just sound like the old valves at the top end on the inside that is, from what I've been told and the couple of videos it does have a slight R32 sound to it from outside. As for the 20vT conversions only reason I didn't go with that (more power easier to tune) was because mine was a vr6 to start with so wanted to stay with the 6 pot. If I had a valves I wouldn't have thought twice about a 20vT conversion!
  16. Well it looks like I won't be riding for a few weeks (or not until after the wedding if the mrs has anything to do with it) came off my bike on Tuesday and dislocated the AC joint in my shoulder (basically tore the muscle between the collar bone and shoulder! And as it won't heal back together I will have a permanent bump from the collar bone on my shoulder. Not quite as bad as kips tho ;) Was coming down a little down hill track (more twisty than jumps) and came to a section of 3 small jump took the first 2 no problem and on the landing of the 3rd just didn't land right. Before I could get control or slow down I plowed straight into a tree stump inches off the track. Got buckarooed off the bike Landing pretty much on my shoulder then sliding down the track on my back! So now I'm stuck at home waiting to be given the all clear! Can't drive any where and when I do walk I can feel my shoulder moving on every step. Bike came off better than I did tho! Luckily all I need to do is replace the front wheel as it looks like a Pringle!
  17. Thats correct Ian. I tried fitting one to mine but wouldn't fit unless you move the battery
