coming along nicely :D

Very nice indeed now hurry up and get some pics up!

As much as a bargain that car is for everything, it requires hell of a lot of work to get it road worthy. No dash so all that needs wiring in, and the roll cage is a bit to garish. The car I have in mind to build is a sleeper. Looks like a standard corrado on the out side but a monster is hiding under neither

Was followed then followed this VR6 today and gave it the tumbs up as I got the blast of the VR6 on the over take :D Reg: L*** BPD Was blue and sat on some nice shiney dished rims. Followed me down the A48 then over took me then I followed you up till Cinderford where I turned off to my house and you went on into town. I was in the golf estate. Any one on here?

You don't want a smaller 24v in exchange do you :D -
Got sacked from my job as a bingo caller yesterday. Apparently a meal for two with a hairy view isn't the way to call out 69

The engine came from a bora 4motion so would mk4 AUE code I think it's the standard ecu with a map can't remember which one tho. I think the map is just a generic one to reduce the throttle response as on the 24v it's very sensitive

I couldnt agree more. Need the extra power to warrant the AWD -
Does the R32 engine sit a bit higher than the smaller 24v engine like mine? As I know mine sits quite close to the bonnet. But when/if I put a R engine in mine there wont be any need for the standard manifold which should shave a inch off the height ;)

Also seen it done with a TVR and mk2

From what I have found so far I need a Golf rallye rear beam assembly ( like trying to find a needle in a hair stack then) Seen a few on german ebay so far but nothing in the uk. Found a good website that does a few parts I will need too http://www.dutchbuild.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=15&Itemid=111&lang=en&vmcchk=1&Itemid=111

Thought as much, cheers Kev.

I was thinking more along the lines of mechanical fitment (engine mounts ect) instead of electrical as I know that will be completely different.
