Nice day and great to catch up with every one, even if it was filled with mishaps for me. Slept through 2 alarms this morning and got woken up by Andy ringing me asking where I was, Doh! The other mishap can be seen below. I ran out of fuel on the way home :bonk:Was only a mile from how when the car started to cough.

Might be a cheap fix to put a complete one on for now and save for something more fun. -

One thing I cant get my head around is why the box has VR6 internals and not the 4motion internals the box came with. Would make sense to keep the box as a whole really  -
Nice work Ian. Is the replacement the one we spoke about?

Indeed, I thought my gearbox was F.U.B.A.R when it happened so know the feeling. Plus I was there when Oz turned up after the gearbox went the last time and it sounded nothing like what happened to mine. In that one it just sounded like a few coins in a tin can where this sounded like a whole coin collection in a tub (if that makes sense) -
Onwards and upwards dude, welcome back

I was driving along and changed down gear to over take a lorry, as I lifted the clutch into the lower gear I heard a bang followed by metal on metal grinding and what sounded like bits falling out and hitting the bottom of the car. I dipped the clutch and tried another gear and same thing again in every gear. Check the passengers side shaft as that is the most common one to go as thats where the most power goes through first before its split into the other drive shafts (if that makes sense) Costs wise I cant rememeber but Im sure it was around the £160 but some of that was covering the fuel used by Graham to come down and fix it for me (as I couldnt move the car) IF it is what I said then all it will need is a new inner CV joing at the gearbox -
And that solves that mystery :D

Sounds similar to why happened to me dude. Inside cv joint shattered at the gear box end. Can't imagine it's te box a that was rebuilt not that long ago -
Haha, I'll just do my usual trick and grab the first one my hand reaches in the wardrobe ;) :D

I can remember selling a few Cigars to some of you a while back after going to Cuba. Started getting into them now after a friend reintroduced me to them and told me where I was going wrong whilst trying them in Cuba :bonk: He was kind enough to set me up with a small selection of Cigars and I am half way through trying them (not in one sitting) Had the following cigars in it. Cohiba Robustos, Romeo Y Juliet Belicosos and the other one just has Key West 1876 on the band which I think is American. The 4th one didn't have a band on it and my friend couldnt remember either what sort it was but said it was American. I have had the Unbanned one and the Key west one which were both nice and smooth. Going to crack out the Romeo Y Juliet tonight and give the Cuban a go. Will give the Cohiba a try some point this week if not at the show on sunday. I've managed to source a decent Humidor and now Im looking at getting a few cigars to go in it. Which brings me onto the reason for this thread, I have been recommended a Montecristo No.2 which I will be trying but any of you Cigars smokers recommend any other decent ones?
