Both your jobs sound very interesting and I thought mine was on the good side :thumbleft:

Can I see some photos of the exhaust please
-
Don't tell me you're up the road from me I don't need an exhaust right now
-
Not allowed to take photos at work but other than the usual office equipment there are scale models of radar system and some rapier and seawolf missiles. In the atrium have some full size models of an old nuke bomb(not a model but decommissioned one), a paveway and cruise missiles

I find his lack of faith disturbing

Haven't been for a while used to have a good turn out with corrado's from members on here but most of the local guys have now sold on their cars
-
Interesting to know. Will keep that in mind. Got plenty if time to source parts and gain knowledge on this before I start it
-
And yeah I plan on changing all bolts months underside to stainless as well as get all the subfrsmes powder coated
-
So aren't the powerflex pollybushes any good then? Thought they were a decent upgrade?
-
Guys what about upgrades parts? What's out there and what's worth getting? Drop links, top mounts, other components like that ect
-
Ahhh yeah I remember these things. Made by the devil hahaha
-
But feel free to add some suggestions or tips on what to use
-
Haven't thought that fat ahead yet if I'm honest. Was thinking of treating and rust the rust preventing primer followed by some strong/durable paint and finally some underseal of some sorts
-
Ahh nice will take a look. Hopefully going to upgrade as many parts as I can (braided hoses, powerflex bushes ect)
-
That's good to kmow. Are these from VW or aftermarket parts?
-
I'm starting to plan for stripping the underseal off to treat any body work issues out. Whilst I'm at it I want to replace/renew any cables pipes ect. What things can I get knew and what would I need to keep hold of? Plus any suggestions for the new bits?
-
Yeah it's so much better live. I went to the Atlanta falcons v Detroit lions a few years ago it was amazing. Now my team is coming over I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas
-
Hahaha that's from Cheltenham to London and back again works out at £3.50 per person :thumbleft:

So have we got any NFL fans in here? I'm a big Baltimore Ravens fan. I cannot wait till September when they play at Wembley. Just sorted my travel down for the weekend and for 2 adults return journey via coach cost the grand total of £7

Hahaha oh yes specially on the nights I cannot sleep

Big thanks to diarmaid16 for the yellow pages aka Bentley manual. Arrived really quick and in perfect condition

So been doing some thinking/planning and hopefully have an idea of what I want to do. 1st thing will be to get the underside stripped, treat any rust/rot the re-seal everything underneath. 2nd move onto the body work same again stripped back treat any rust/roar and decent spray job. 3rd powder coat all subfrsmes, wishbone rear beam ect. Along with new bushes, upgraded ARB, brakes, suspension and all other parts associated with the frames. Plus branded hose's fuel lines. Along witb some nice wheels 4th performance upgrades would love to completely strip the engine and build from the ground up some sort of forced induction engine with all the bells and whistles. Along with the gearbox. This stage will be last as the engine is solid at the moment after a stealth rebuild 10 years ago. I want to complete as much of this myself but most of it will have to wait till I move to a house with a decent size garage
