Well that truly sucks and I hope it wasn't sold to you like that intentionally as that's a real dick move if it was. Fun how he hasn't appeared on here to defend himself! But that's just me being cynical as I've caught short in a similar situation with my first VR6. Low compression in 3 cylinders but didn't find out untill after i purchased it but as you say you live and you learn. Best of luck with what ever venture you take with it

The VR6 is back up and running now

Can't be that bad if it was driven home

Ok mate. VW heritage do them for £25 But it's out of stock. If I get stuck then I'll be in contact. Appreciate the offer

How much you looking for it mate?

Well the corrado threw it's first wobble today. Pulled up at some traffic lights to see what I thought was smoke bellowing out from under the bonnet. Fortunately it was steam. The hose that goes from the cylinder head to the heater matrix split chucking water all over the exhaust manifold heat shield. Fun times

Had a few "subtle" upgrades done over the last month. Had a custom remap done by CrazyDave. Found out it already had a map chip installed but Dave's map is better balanced and gives better performance all round. Today I installed a BMC CDA they're worth their weight in gold just for the sound they produce. Next on the list is to sort a small bit of rust behind the rear bumper then time to start collecting parts for the under side refresh. The rev counter has started to have a intermittent falt. Some times it won't work at all and some times it's going crazy flicking all over the place and the rest of the time it works fine. Any suggestions on what to look at?
